• Preparation of Schedule, execute and monitor the maintenance activities of the Electrical and Instrumentation equipment in the assigned area and assign resources, in line with the maintenance schedule. • Plan and manage time and manpower for executing the schedule outage (annual) and major works and prepare maintenance reports covering work details for Electrical Equipment with regard to generation units assigned. • Plan and supervise the day to day maintenance activities and updating the Manager Maintenance/HOD in daily technical as well as weekly executive meeting meetings. • Assist the Manager Maintenance in preparing maintenance budget proposals and technical scopes for the planned works, providing input into tenders and monitoring of contracts, budgets and budgetary control under the guidance of the Manager Maintenance. • Maintain inventory of spares, consumables and critical spares for the year by using MAXIMO, and initiate procurement in order to ensure their availability during outage and emergency maintenance and thereby ensuring the quality and timely completion of work. To inspect materials / spares newly purchased as per specifications in PR, at stores and organize inspection of spares and advise management accordingly. • Responsible for the submission of weekly, monthly, Quarterly and Annual tentative and progress reports to the Manager Maintenance. • Recommend new installations or modifications to improve plant control performance or replacement of defective or obsolete instrumentations and equipment. • Supervise and monitor the progress of all types of routine, breakdown and planned maintenance activities, to minimize down time for the equipment for increased plant productivity. • Update, maintain records, generate reports related to the maintenance work, maintain master list of drawings, calibrate/test tools and test equipment, in order to enable the management to take the right decisions and thereby ensure plant reliability.

• Responsible for NBE site Monitoring, Supervision & coordination of Plant Operation ensuring operations are conducted in a safe and efficient manner and ensuring compliance to company safety procedures and policies.
• Operating the NBE machines and auxiliaries safely, reliably and efficiently under the supervision of Manager Operation in accordance to OEM guidelines, Technical Limits, Approved Operating Procedures and as per NBE Operation Policy for ensuring prudent utility practices & reliable and efficient production.
• Monitor NBE Units/equipment operating conditions related to safe working parameters and identify any abnormality or deteriorating operating conditions and initiate actions as per the approved procedures.
• Issuance and cancellation of PTW in MAXIMO as per NBE PTW and Key Safe Procedure.
• Responsible for submitting incident/trip reports and to provide recommendations – results in quicker resolution of the fault and aids higher management in decision making.
• Planning of Operational Activities, Preparation of Daily, Monthly, Quarterly & Availability reports for Management.
• Preparation of Trouble reports in MAXIMO and intimation of the trouble to relevant section and weekly trouble report preparation for weekly management meeting discussion.
