As a Community Liaison officer, my primary responsibility is to support and guide a field team to achieve project goals. I do this by developing strong liaisons with the community, organization, and government officials to ensure smooth collaboration and effective communication. I am also responsible for documenting and reporting on-field activities, managing project data, building relationships with stakeholders, selecting target participants, ensuring high-quality output, and efficient budget use.Furthermore, I plan and manage training and meetings to enhance the skills of the project team and maintain regular communication with stakeholders. I submit monthly reports to keep all stakeholders informed about project progress, challenges, and opportunities.Close coordination with project participants and stakeholders is crucial for success. Therefore, I prioritize building and maintaining strong relationships with all parties involved. Ultimately, my goal is to ensure that the project is completed successfully and that all stakeholders are satisfied with the outcomes.

The report thoroughly evaluated a series of activities that were aimed at promoting olive cultivation on a commercial scale in Sindh. These activities included a range of measures, such as the establishment of olive plantations, installation of drip irrigation systems, provision of professional training, and conducting of adaptability trials. 
Various awareness-raising initiatives were undertaken to mobilize the community, dialogues were initiated, and priority needs related to agriculture-based livelihoods were identified. Individual farmers were provided with olive plantation wild olive grafting, water-saving technologies, and good agricultural practices to help them optimise their yields.
To ensure that the project was implemented effectively, monthly meetings were organised for communities to plan and implement project activities. These meetings helped bring together all stakeholders and ensure everyone was on the same page regarding the project goals, objectives, and timelines. 

Job Description:
- Identify and engage with youth and community leaders to ensure their participation in the project. Organize training sessions and capacity-building activities to develop their skills and knowledge.
- Establish community-based groups such as farmer\'s groups, artisan groups, livestock keepers groups, health groups, child clubs, and community/village organizations to promote community involvement and ownership in the project.
- Prepare a comprehensive implementation plan for WASH, livelihood, and food security activities such as poultry distribution, establishing small shops for income generation, distribution of seeds for kitchen gardening, and ensuring proper practices of kitchen gardening for long-term sustainability.
- Develop an annual calendar for awareness days and celebrate them with thematic topics to engage youth and activists in the community. Work with community members to organize and coordinate these events.
- Conduct assessments, monitoring, and evaluation of project activities related to agricultural livelihoods such as agricultural schemes, farmers\' field schools, exposure visits, etc. Provide feedback and recommendations to improve project outcomes.
- Write daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and other required reports, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. Share these reports with the line manager and other relevant stakeholders.
- Present weekly and monthly reports through PowerPoint presentations, using visual aids to enhance understanding and engagement.
- Conduct weekly and monthly meetings with different community organisations such as farmers\' groups, health groups, etc. to discuss project progress, challenges, and opportunities for improvement. Provide guidance and support to these groups as needed.

The following are the activities that were carried out in the project aimed at providing Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) assistance to flood-affected families in district Umerkot:
The project involved community mobilization and coordination in project areas under project activities. We also carry out field-level assessment and identification of targeted communities. The project ensures that we prepare and promote good hygiene practices, develop appropriate materials in the local language, and ensure that the program area is Open Defecation-Free. We also conducted awareness sessions on health, hygiene, and COVID-19. Ensures that all activities carried out in the field are well documented and that we collect case stories/success stories during the project life
1. Conducting Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) in communities to make initial contact in the target area.
2. Identifying the most vulnerable households for beneficiary selection by using Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) tools such as Wealth Ranking.
3. Resolving community conflicts using sensitization and mobilization tools.
4. Promoting good water, sanitation, and hygiene practices in the targeted area.
5. Developing appropriate Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) materials and flashcards in the local language.
6. Ensuring 100% Open Defecation Free (ODF) status of the program area through Community Resource Persons (CRPs) and Village Organizations (VOs).
7. Ensuring that 100% of households have constructed latrines using their local techniques.
8. Collecting case stories/success stories during the project life.
9. Conducting awareness sessions on Health & Hygiene and COVID-19.
10. Ensuring proper documentation of all activities carried out in the field.
11. Formulating community organizations through Building Back Better Communities Methodology (BBCM) and building capacity of already existing community structures through training.

I had the opportunity to work as an Education Development Officer (EDO) in an education program that was supported by the Sindh Education Foundation (SEF). My work focused on the Tharparkar and Umerkot districts, where I was responsible for overseeing 36 schools. My role involved a range of responsibilities, including conducting surprise visits to ensure that the schools were functioning properly, enrolling out-of-school children into the program, holding weekly and monthly meetings with the school staff to discuss progress and identify areas for improvement, and submitting regular visit reports in both soft and hard files.
In addition to these duties, I also organized education programs within the schools to ensure that students were receiving a well-rounded education, conducted monthly assessments and annual examinations to evaluate student progress, and held community meetings to encourage enrollment. I also participated in enrollment campaigns and organized parents\\\\\\\' meetings to maintain good relationships with the school community. Finally, I was responsible for managing the schools\\\\\\\' database and performing school management and maintenance work to ensure that the schools were safe and functional.

During a short-term project, I worked as a Community Mobilizer & Team Leader for the small ruminants advance vaccination project in district Umarkot, which was funded by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO). My responsibilities included supporting the planning, monitoring, and implementation of project activities, identifying areas/villages for project activities, mobilizing and selecting project participants, ensuring the quality outputs and results of the project as per the implementation timeline, planning and managing training/meetings with communities, coordinating and conducting meetings at the community level, taking notes during meetings and training, collecting and documenting success stories and case studies for project activities, compiling and submitting weekly/monthly reports of activities, maintaining a database of the activities, and maintaining close coordination and follow-up with project participants and other project staff.

As an Education Promoter (EP) in Tharparkar and Umerkot districts, I played a crucial role in the education system by overseeing the operations of seven schools. My job was to ensure that all children received the education they deserved. I would conduct surprise visits to the schools, making sure that everything was running smoothly. Additionally, I was responsible for enrolling out-of-school children, organizing education programs, conducting assessments and examinations, and holding community and parent meetings to discuss issues related to education. 
I was also responsible for managing the schools\\\\\\\' database, keeping track of all the students\\\\\\\' records, and submitting regular reports to ensure that the schools were functioning efficiently. Furthermore, I performed school management and maintenance tasks, such as ensuring the proper functioning of the school\\\\\\\'s infrastructure and ensuring that the school was clean and hygienic. Overall, my role as an EP was challenging, but it was also incredibly rewarding to see the positive impact that education had on the children in the community.
