As Monitoring and Evaluation Officer I was involved in the monitoring, evaluations, assessments and studies under USAID’s large and diverse portfolio in economic growth, infrastructure, security, agriculture, education and gender. I provided my support in the monitoring and evaluations of four USAID funded projects in three provinces of Pakistan. The projects were 1) Gomal Zam Dam Command Area Development Project, 2) Drivers of Extremism Study, 3) Merit & Need Based Scholarship Program Monitoring, and 4) Early Grade Reading Assessment.
Responsibilities and achievements
Coordination with USAID, MSI staff and consultants regarding designing mid-term, final and impact evaluation, assessments and research studies, Designing data collection plans and instruments, Participation in team planning workshop, Training data collection teams on data collection (qualitative and quantitative) and data collection instruments, Supervision of field teams for Data Verification, Collection and Analysis, Data Quality Assessments, Developing SoWs for outsourcing surveys and qualitative research (FGDs and IDIs), and supervising sub-contractor’s work to ensure satisfactory completion of task, Monitoring progress of deliverables, disbursements and participation in learning and feedback/review meetings
