Family Support
·         Build relationships with families to foster a culture of open communication and responsiveness.
·         Discuss and understand their situation, their current capacities, future aspirations, and their development potential.
·         Facilitate families to develop their development goals at family as well as individual levels.
·         Facilitate families to develop their family development plans (FDPs) to achieve their social and economic development.
·         Ensure provision of socio-economic support (financial and non- financial) to families
·         Support and guide families through all stages of development (crises, stabilization, development, and self-sustained progress) across all domains of need, including physical and mental health, education (including ECD), livelihoods development and access to finance, safe and stable housing, food security, as well as participation in community life.
·         Serve as a focal point of contact for the family, ensuring access and coordination of the appropriate support and service at the right time.
Career Development Support
·         Provide career development support by assessing beneficiaries’ abilities, Skills, and interest, correlating this with market demand and future trend and identify barriers to employment and entrepreneurship and assist in overcoming such barriers by providing mentorship.
·         Identify barriers to employment and/or entrepreneurship and assist in overcoming such barriers.
·         Support beneficiaries in developing economic action plans and provide mentorship in achieving their goals.
·         Help beneficiaries in availing financing options from banks for their economic pathways.
·         Provide support to beneficiaries in job searching, resume writing and appearing in interviews.
·         Support beneficiaries in developing feasibility for entrepreneurship options, support them in presenting their case to bank in securing financial options.
·         Provide financial literacy to manage business finances and personal finances, including guidance on family budgeting.
Monitoring and Reporting
·         Engage families for their baseline, end-line, and impact assessment surveys.
·         Ensure comprehensive and consistent quality documentation of all elements of the program from home visit logs and referrals to impact evaluation metrics, interactions, and interventions notes.
·         Participate in regular reflection sessions for qualitative data gathering, enhancement of program design, and troubleshooting and tracking progress against set goals.
Voluntary Engagement
·         Assist the Supervisor in mobilizing, training, and managing volunteer resources.
·         Build and nurture relationships with the local community and local institutions to foster a culture of open communication and responsiveness.
·         Ensure all groups are represented and take ownership of community-level interventions, wherever needed.
·         Be poverty scouts – look out for people in distress who may need assistance but do not know who to ask for help or are embarrassed to do so.

As a trainer design and conduct training sessions for enumerators and area and zonal field officers. These sessions are focused on effective use of open data kit, sampling methodology, questionnaire, and gender sensitization and communication skills. The aim is to ensure quality data collection so as to effectively assess the efficacy of the anti-polio campaign.
As a Zonal Field Manager I oversee the entire data collection campaign, and coordinate with the National Field Manager (NFM), security staff, and partner organizations to ensure not only the collection of the most robust data but also the safety and well-being of all field staff in my zone. Additionally, I focus on identifying and disseminating success stories and areas of improvement

• Ensuring proper monitoring of UNICEF supported activities on field in various sectors in Sindh province.

I worked as a field editor at MICS Sindh, a project of UNICEF and Sindh Bureau of statistics, Planning and development department, Government of Sindh, Karachi in a House hold survey on education, health, nutrition, child protection, Water and Sanitation (WES) and Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH).

Responsibilities:

• Controlling the quality of data throughout the field work
• Responsible for observing interviewer and carrying out field editing
• Monitoring the interviewer’s work regularly and ensure the quality of data collection remains high throughout the survey
• Perform random Spot checks as necessary and in consultation with the field supervisor
• Conduct regular review session with interviewers and advise them of any problem found in the questionnaires
• Putting completed questionnaires from a sample area (cluster or primary sampling unit (PSU) or enumeration area (EA) in order and pack them up to be sent to the central office
• Responsible for assisting the measurer as needed to ensure quality of anthropometric measurement
