Conduct Investigation on alerts raised in the Transaction Monitoring System
Ensure proper closure of alerts generated on system in a timely manner, within the defined turnaround time
Monitoring of business relations and transactions from a due diligence & ML/TF/PF perspective on an ongoing basis through the automated Transaction Monitoring System
Coordinate with the business function to understand the customer profile and identify if the transaction are consistent with the profile, risk rating, business activity, sources of funds and other relevant information
Coordinate with cross functional business units on advisory related to AML/ CFT/ CPF & Transaction monitoring issues
Manage, identify & escalate suspicious transactions to Team leader/ Sr. Managers for onwards reporting to Financial Monitoring Unit
Identify & assess possible ML/TF/PF risks that may arise in relation to new products, services, business practices and delivery mechanisms
Marking of high risk accounts and assist in updating the risk scoring module
Identify STR’s during course of their review.
Supervision of extraction and updating of negative lists in the system on regular basis.

Preparation of Key Risk Indicators and their data points
Extensive reviewing of data of data points, KRI formulas and their documentation
Analysis of Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and their respective thresholds
Develop an understanding of department specific risks and their impact on the entity as a whole as well as any compliance requirements they adhere to
Preparing reports as per business unit, function or sub function
System administration of Risk Nucleus – Operational Risk Management System
Obtain an understanding of Risk & Control Self-Assessment development
Preparation of reports
Analysis of trends from different companies and sectors
Identification of major & minor cost drivers of companies
Research work in determining major factors both local and regional affecting demand and supply
