Ms Hussain , a Pakistani social scientist and gender expert, has more than 9 years of experience in assist/advise the program Management Unit (PMU)/concerned district government/line departments in planning, formulating, implementing, monitoring and evaluating project interventions pertaining to gender issues. She has expertise in scanning all the development projects/schemes, plans, proposals and budgets for ensuring adequate women friendly infrastructure provisions at the time of designing structures/building plans. She is also busy to identify ways to involve local community in the planning and implementation of project activities, and to develop cooperation and coordination between line departments and NGOs/CSOs. Ms Hussain is skilled in gender analysis Gender responsive budgeting project planning, implementation and management, including report preparation monitoring and evaluation and, training management, including planning, need assessment, design, curriculum preparation on gender and training of trainers. She has strong inter-personal and communication skill, working closely with government departments and organizations on gender mainstreaming amp women empowerment and facilitating linkages between District Government and line departments, NGOs, women empowerment organizations and development partners.
1. Support gender mainstreaming in Federal Ministries and collection of gender disaggregated data.
· Support identification of the areas in ministries where gender mainstreaming is required and gender disaggregated data can be collected.
· Support the development of Gender Responsive analytical framework assessing extent of gender mainstreaming in the selected Federal Ministries.
· Support liaison with the MTBF team leader in the Finance Division and core-teams in selected Federal Ministries determining the potential areas where the gender disaggregated targets setting is feasible.
2. Provide support to MTBF team in preparation of MTBF Green Book and collection of Performance Monitoring Performa’s from federal ministries.
· Provide support to MTBF team in preparation of Budget Call Circular (BCC) and incorporation of gender responsive amendments in it.
· Provide support to MTBF Secretariat and assigned Ministries on preparation of Gender Responsive amendments in MTBF Green book.
· Coordinate with MTBF team leader to provide efficient support to budget teams in the ministries to improve gender responsive governance..
· Coordinate with selected line Ministries (apart from ministries already worked on) and support the finalization of strategic plans 2015-18 incorporating gender focused operational plans, personnel plans, performance indicators and targets, and projects.
3. Facilitate technical support to Federal ministries to enhance their capacity
· Support the facilitation of trainings/technical support to ministries improving articulation of gender based policy priorities and performance indicators.
· Support the training of selected number of Federal Ministries in enhancing their monitoring capability to monitor gender based performance indicators and targets, and personnel policy.
1- Review all produced manuals and trainings
2- Create recommendations for improvement of all trainings, manuals, and other programmatic “training” documents;
3- Gender sensitization of government and NGO partners, local leaders, and women and men members of the community Groups
4- To steer the mainstreaming and promotion of Gender Equality in organization with particular emphasis on girls’ issues that are defined by gender discrimination including gender based violence, stereotyping and unequal power relations between men and women.

1-The Gender Specialist will be the focal person having responsibility to assist/advise the program Management Unit(PMU)/concerned district government/line departments in planning , formulating , implementing, monitoring and evaluating project interventions pertaining to gender issues.

3- To submit the monthly/quarterly/annual progress reports to PMU as well as the concerned district Government /line departments indicating progress achieved issues and recommendations for future plans.
