I am a Pakistani national (hail from District Kurram Ex FATA) enriched with extensive experience managing different projects in capacity development in local governance and education, community driven project management, and institutional reforms in KP, Baluchistan and EX- FATA.
I, being MA in Political Science and Pakistan Studies, Acumen Fellow (in leadership program) have extensive knowledge and understanding of socio-politico-economics dynamics of Pakistani community.
I worked as Advisor-Capacity Development (PTCs Training) with Adam Smith International (DFID) dealing with capacity development of 26000 plus parent teacher councils (PTCs) in KP.
In 2005, as Capacity Development Manager with NCHD, I successfully implemented capacity development training program in LG development in KP and Baluchistan. This include establishment of monitoring committees, Citizen Com Boards (CCBs), capacity development of local elected representatives and officials in carrying out their businesses as enunciated by the 2002 LG Ordinance.
In 2008, as Project Manager with Creative Associate Intl (USAID), I successfully implemented community driven development projects in militancy driven Ex FATA
During my work I, as a project/program manager, effectively followed monitoring and evaluation protocols as per the donors requirements
Based on my strong working relationship with the government departments (LG and Education in particular) I can jump start the project effectively. With effective management and leadership skills I have managed independent offices with multi-skilled technical workforce.
I am active member of Amnesty International, FRD, IRS, PHERO, and Pakistan Humanitarian Forum
Prepare a ‘Strategic Plan’ with well-defined milestones for the implementation of project activities at district level;
Perform overall project management functions, and provide leadership support for all project’s technical, financial and administrative matters at the district level;
Assist the PMU, respective PIU and Project’s partners’ staff in the internalization of QLCDD approach into the project interventions at district level;
Conduct regular meetings with all the implementing line departments/partners at district level to assess the pace of implementation, identify bottlenecks, and devise concrete and doable remedial measures to resolve the emerging problems;
Attend regular meetings with the World Bank task team on matters relating to sub-projects’ implementation, monitoring and other related subjects. Responsible for resolution of all issues arising during the implementation of the sub-projects at district level;
Accomplish the goals and targets/objectives of the project described in the approved PC-I within given time frame for the respective district;
Supervise and exercise effective & efficient control over the financial and administrative matters of the PIU concerned;
Supervision and guidance of the project staff, and management of all project resources at district level for attaining the project set objectives, and
Contributing to all aspects of implementation planning project activities and ensuring work plan compliance and efficient utilization of budget
Preparation strategic plans for the program with work plan
Development of training modules for PTC based on KP PTC Guidelines
Organizing training for (a) 380 master trainers –ToTs, (b) district education officials including DEOs, DDEOs, SDEOs and ASDEOs on role and responsibilities of PTCs
Selection of partner organization for implementation of training program including preparation of bid documents and contract negotiation
Liaison with the selected service providers, KP Education Directorate and district education offices
Monitoring quality of training, progress of service providers, collect and review the reports and follow-up meeting at secretariat and directorate level
Revision and Development of KP PTC Guideline (Approved by KP education department)
Facilitation in selection of IP for third party assessment of training program including preparation of bid documents and contract negotiation
