Under the overall supervision of the Head of the Humanitarian, Resilience and Recovery Unit (HRRU) and the technical supervision of the Protection Officer, and under the direct supervision of the National Protection Officer, the incumbent will support with the coordination and monitoring the provision of protection services as part at provincial-level of IOM’s emergency response to the flood crisis in and Afghanistan crisis in Pakistan and 
Currently, my responsibilities include:
-  Implementing Protection, GBV, CPiE, and PSEA interventions through Implementing partners in Sindh.
§  Liaising with Provincial Protection, GBV, and Child Protection Sector and representing IOM\'s work in Protection in Sindh.
§  Oversee and coordinate the work of provincial-level protection staff and implementing partners (IPs) to maintain the timely provision of specialized protection services, in line with project documents, Sandard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and agreed workplans.
§  Conduct regular field visits in different districts to monitor service delivery and work performance of provincial-level protection staff and IPs, conducting regular meetings to discuss challenges and lessons learnt, ad hoc follow-ups, as well as identifying gaps and capacity-building needs.
§  Assist the National Protection Officers in coordinating, monitoring and improving timely and safe implementation of specialized protection services in line with IOM’s SOPs, workplans and project objectives, including through weekly and monthly project tracking and reporting tools.
§  Provide capacity-building sessions to provincial-level staff and IPs on general protection, protection mainstreaming principles, gender-based violence (GBV), child protection (CP), safe referral pathways, prevention of sexual exploitation and abuse (PSEA), data protection and other protection-related topics.
§  Monitor the coordination, drafting and timely submission of weekly, monthly and ad hoc reports on provincial-level protection projects and activities to the Protection Coordinator and National Protection Officers, capturing progress achieved, challenges faced, meetings, trainings and consultations conducted as well as action points.
§  Supervise provincial-level protection staff, including attendance monitoring and performance review, as needed, while contributing to continuously strengthen the capacities of staff and IPs by identifying gaps, planning and providing on-the-job coaching, mentoring, technical guidance and training sessions.
§  Support National Protection Officers in coordinating and liaising with relevant provincial authorities as well as other UN agencies and partners through relevant provincial-level Working Groups and maintain good relations with relevant services providers, while providing clear and timely information on IOM’s protection programme
§  Act as Protection Focal Point for conducting referrals at provincial-level and directly following up with at-risk individuals for the provision of urgent services, when required.
§  Verify that data on protection cases is systematically and accurately collected by field protection staff and/or IPs in a confidential manner and entered in relevant tools, databases and information management (IM) systems to facilitate monitoring and reporting.
§  Support the Humanitarian, Resilience and Recovery Division (HRRD) and the Protection Unit with other specialized tasks and activities at provincial-level, upon request, including but not limited to conducting field visits, key informant interviews (KIIs), focus group discussions (FGDs), awareness raising sessions and other activities, as needed.

Under the direct supervision of the Program Coordinator, as a Program Officer, I have supported the technical oversight of program management and implements activities of the Nutrition programs, Health programs and COVID-19 project. I am also responsible in the formulation, management and evaluation of program activities relating to the Project.
Projects, I have been managing implementation through the implementing partners, EU-PINS (outreach Component), CMAM Surge, COVID-19 Response, strengthening health systems and Sindh Drought Resilience Program
Roles & Responsibilities:
1) PROGRAMME MANAGEMENT:
 Responsible for managing, technical and financial, and partnership management.
 Regularly coordinate with Implementing partner organization to ensure quality projects progress in a timely manner
 Plan and organize program activities with the Implementing partner organization as outlined in the projects documents

The post holder will assist in design, implementation and monitoring of the CBDRM component of Concern\'s programmes in Sindh, Pakistan. She will be responsible to support local NGO partner/s in the implementation of CBDRM interventions of resilience projects in Sindh e.g. BDRP, SDRP, etc.). She will assist in developing guidelines for CBDRM interventions with the support of CBDRM/ DRR Specialist and will ensure that all activities are planned and implemented in accordance with relevant national and international sectoral standards. She will also provide capacity building support to Concern/ local NGO partners staff in CBDRM programming.Programme Implementation and Technical Support and supervise CBDRM activities. This includes providing technical guidance, developing work plans, monitoring implementation and impact, ensuring that project deliverables are timely completed

The CBDRM officer may be called upon as part of her roles and responsibilities to participate in and/ or provide support to emergency response situations when and where required in consultation with his/her line manager.

As the Program Manager, my core responsibilities were to ensure effective planning, management, and implementation of Child Protection Activities in Sindh, including monitoring and funds management with the Local Government Department. I actively coordinated with stakeholders such as the Health Department, Education Department, Social Welfare Department, and Telenor to promote birth registration, with a particular focus on children under the age of 5. Additionally, I was responsible for managing human resources at the district level, aiming to achieve and maximize the targets assigned by the management, while ensuring timely and accurate data collection and entry. I also supported the implementation of social mobilization activities.
 
Other responsibilities are;
·       Capacity building of Civil society and Govt department on CRC focusing on Child Protection concerns.
·       Developed strategies to address user ID and technical issues at the district level, communicating necessary actions to concerned parties at the district and provincial levels, including the IT officer.
·       Monitored and supported the social welfare department/organizations responsible for community mobilization and communication activities for promoting birth registration.
·       Ensured effective and efficient utilization of UNICEF Funds transfer to the district administration, maintaining financial records, reports, and timely settlements of accounts with the Local Government Department (in accordance with UNICEF policies and procedures).

The purpose of this position is to ensure the effective and efficient day to day implementation of project activities under overall supervision of Area Coordinator with technical support and advice given by the Health Programs Coordinator. The PO health will ensure the functioning of project from its commencement to the end including project inception activities, annual and quarterly planning and reporting, and implementation of project activities, project reviews and project closure.

• Co-ordinate with Project Manager for effective implementation of the CBDRR activities and School Based DRR;
• Conduct activities of Schools based DRR so that schools and associated local government authorities have increased capacity to develop and implement school based DRR approaches and develop sustainable systems and models.
• Support Training Officer in trainings at district level and community level.
• Conduct training of school teachers, Children Clubs, Village Committees, School Based Emergency Response Team and Village Disaster Management Committees on CBDRR and SBDRR in absence of Training Officer.
• Conduct activities of community based DRR so that Communities have increased capacity to prevent, prepare for and mitigate disaster risk through locally appropriate DRR strategies. It will also contribute to strengthening synergies between community based and school based DRR.
