I am leading a team of diversified people of 150 staff members comprising production supervisors, process laboratory chemists, machine operators, color matchers, filling and packing staff. My KPIs include Productivity (Ltr/ Man hour), Electricity saving, water and solvent consumption, waste minimization, production loss, product service level, number of safety tickets and implementation of Health and Safety rules and policies. Workplace safety was the core area and conduction risk assessments and improving work practices and bring awareness through toolbox talks were among my core responsibilities. I was responsible for safe and quality consistent production of powder coatings keeping in view the production loss, time and safety as a key factor. I was incharge of a team of 20 staff members responsible for entire production and inventory control. I was also responsible for cost control such as electricity and water consumption. 

I spent almost a month in different section of production to learn the paper making process in detail and about the working principle of differnt industrial hardware. I also learnt the operating of turbine. In 2nd month, I undertook the project to troubleshoot & calculate the efficiency of disc filters which were in operation in Paper Mill area. I worked in close coordination with Quality Control departments to find out the route cause of its malfunctioning and suggest remedies. 

I was able to study the entire process of Dying and finishing department , utilities and Waste Water Treatment plant. I learned the working and process monitoring of co-combustion boiler, wood fired boiler, coal fired boiler and biomass based boiler for steam generation. I gained insighed of the process control, utilities consumption and process optimization principles. 

I undertook an internship where I was assigned a task of applying complete material balance of H2 production plant using Microsoft Excel. I was successful in timely completion of the task and my results were excellent.
