Project: Gathering Rain Water to Avail Food (GRAF)

Efficiently supervise project from planning to scoping, estimation, tracking, implementing project plans with fixed budgets and deadlines; define best practices and interface with clients during all phases of project lifecycle.

• Ensured quality by monitoring and evaluation ongoing projects as well as implementation of program strategies focusing on achievement of desired results.

Project: Sustainable Economic Development through Value Chains, Advocacy and Disaster risk reduction (EDVAD) in AJK

Played a key role as a Project Lead and headed the responsibility for examining and devising all livelihood and advocacy related interventions at district level. Offered guidance to the management in streamlining and resolving key crosscutting issues, including gender, disability, child protection and others during program development and implementation. Presented technical assistance to field teams and partners while contributing to life saving and livelihood improvements. Administered field level activities, evaluated gaps in technical implementation, and suggested recommendations & practical demonstration to assure continuous improvement.
Key Accomplishments:
• Actively liaised with monitoring, evaluation, and accountability and learning team and established M&E framework for overall FSL program to assess impact of projects and progress towards strategic operational and advocacy objectives.
• Formulated DIP, business process, formats, documentations, project concept papers, and contextual analysis while creating proposals with support from the area/ country teams.
• Prepared and monitor the implementation process of FSL/value chain/micro financing for enterprise development to ensure timely delivery of programme activities.

Project: Drought Resilient Agriculture Modelling (DRAM)

Developed and implemented value chain /business associations, capacity building, and concept note for Dalbadin and Khran districts of Baluchistan. Organized technical trainings and exposure visits for farmers and delivered technical support in designing proposed activities and marketing structures especially focusing on Date Palm production technology.
Key Accomplishments:
• Established TORs, redesigned Food Security and Livelihood (FSL) activities as per area need and feasibility and devised different FSL interventions, such as water efficient structures and agriculture activities as per changing climate affects.
• Achieved bottom-line results by ensuring core scoping, spearheading and deploying program interventions to optimize efficiency by warding off all kind progress retardants.

Project: Sustainable Initiatives for Resilience and Transformation (SIRAT)

Effectively established, executed, and supervised food security and livelihood activities at field level and delivered support to country office in CN’s and proposal development. Established and retained excellent working relations with Area Program Manager Sindh, Social mobilization unit and country office to assure timely and effective delivery of food security and livelihoods initiatives. Delayed Multi sectorial interventions like entrepreneurship and scholarship program, vocational grants and trainings for women in various trades, business associations formation and trainings, backyard poultry package, microenterprise grants, and farmer field days within very short period of time.
Key Accomplishments
• Created, implemented, supervised, and revised context specific FSL strategy, work plans, and systems and provided strategic direction and support to the FSL function at area level.
• Verified the vulnerable beneficiaries / potential trainees while avoiding overlaps and duplication of project activities and facilitating resource persons, consultants, and firms for capacity building and training needs assessments.
• Monitored field activities, directed farmer field days at project targeted areas, and designed 20 common interest groups at UC level under SIRAT project.
• Created advocacy and engagements sessions on education, wash, livelihood and DRR at community and government level and completed SIRAT pending major activities.
• Offered support to IR-UK monitoring team for assessing project interventions, developing and sharing two livelihood concept notes for District Sajawal and Thatta with CO team.
• Led assessment survey of Tharparkar district along with AO Sindh team and submitted detail report and concept note to Country Office on livelihood improvement of district Tharparkar for approval.

Project: Improving Household Economy through Sustainable Agribusiness Support (IHESAS) • Donor: IRUSA

Identified potential leaders, influential, decision makers/opinion makers in working area and offered technical guidance to communities’ mono cropping to convert into multi cropping. Managed male and female BBCMs and FGDs according to the local norms and traditions to incorporate opinions in project activities. Administered target community to execute project activities by respecting dignity and integrity of the affected families. Helped FO Bagh in implementing and completing pending activities in a timely manner. Supported MER officer in monitoring the project activities and creating potential case studies/success stories, weekly progress reports and final narrative report writing.
Key Accomplishments:
• Established and retained effective complaint response mechanism in all phases of the project to document grievances of the target families and facilitate PMT in captivating relevant actions for necessary rectification.
• Facilitated community in identifying potential gaps, examining problems, prioritizing needs, obtaining available outside resources, and finding solutions to resolve collective problems.
• Developed walnut packaging unit under IHESAS, which was budgeted very low but with in person technical capability, intervention lead to outstanding 01M rupees benefit within 08 months.
• Organized and retained record and assured timely implementation of livelihood activities in filed while providing technical inputs and support for smooth implementation of agriculture activities.
• Steered advocacy and engagement session and meetings at community, village, district government, and state level and managed value chain development, including dairy, vegetable, fruit, and nuts value chains.
• Actively contributed in various events, workshop, project review planning seminars, training\'s and community.

Conducted trainings at campus and other districts Muzaffarabad, Neelum, Bagh, Rawalakot, Palandari, Mirpur, Bhimber, and Havali of AJ&K for potential farmers and refresher courses for departments of agriculture, livestock and forest. Managed exposure visits of various universities and other institutions such as NGOs and Farmers. Positioned as an In charge of diploma in agricultural sciences and oversaw diploma activities, student affairs, issues, and admissions.

Key Accomplishments:
• Coached and supervised diploma trainees in various agricultural courses/practices soil fertility and plant nutrition, agronomy, horticulture, agriculture economics, community development, and soil science.
• Characterized ESMA’s opinion/ concerns in standing committee and faculty board meetings of University of Agriculture Faisalabad regarding academic development, up gradation of diploma courses, and revision of syllabus while following climate change and other managerial and policy related issues.
