Greetings
My name is Zahra Baray and i was recently working as a Project Manager at MHL Global and was responsible for handling Butterfly Universe, which was a global movement aiming to impart mental literacy to 5 million kids and 100,000 teachers in Pakistan.
I secured a Gold Medal in Public Relations during my MBA and have prior work experience in Asiatic Public Relations, affiliate of Hill Knowlton along with Nielsen Marketing Research and Starcrest Communications. I have also worked at Aga Khan University Hospital in their marketing department where my role was to arrange communication and brand building material for AKUH and organize events to promote different departments and services. All in all, my experience involves project management, creative strategy, public relations, marketing research and event management.
Handled a team of 4 Trainers and coordinated with schools and corporations to educate teachers and students on the concept of Mental Literacy.
Responsible for brand building, website content creation, and representing Butterfly Universe on multiple platforms.
Managed the Facebook page for Butterfly Universe and Bake Parlor.
Developed annual strategies for clients such as Musarrat Misbah cosmetics, OLX and Bake Parlor.
Report preparation with complete analysis of data for various clients that cannot be disclosed due to confidentiality agreement.
Responsible for organizing World Health Days within and outside AKUH premises. In-charge of Preventive Health Sessions and arranging doctors for the AKUH sponsored FM100 programme Aap aur Sehat. Additionally responsible for developing and updating medical brochures and flyers for distribution.
I joined Nielsen as a Research Executive but was promoted as a Senior Research Executive within a year. Worked under the quantitative department for customized research and handled clients like Continental Biscuits Limited (CBL), Nokia, Pfizer, Syngenta, Kolson, Greenstar & Philip Morris International (PMI) etc. Conducted Product Testing, Blind Taste Testing, Usage and Attitude Studies, Observational Studies, Ad Testing, Mystery Shopping and Satisfaction Studies for clients.
Responsible for ad hoc projects like coordination and event management of Mobile Monday Pakistan Chapter in Islamabad, assisting client service managers for preparing their entries for Asian CSR Awards, also in-charge of drafting press releases, developing PR strategies and handling the marketing and development of tbl –a specialized bi-monthly CSR publication.
Responsible for the launch of Tetra Pak School Milk Programme in Karachi which included correspondence with schools and suggestive launch strategies.
