Brief Introduction


Mr. Ghulam Murtaza did BS in Anthropology from University of Sindh, Jamshoro. His thesis titled “Traditional Artisan in Hyderabad: An Ethnographic Study of Rajput Gujarati Community” makes a unique contribution in history to document indigenous community of Sindh. Now he is enrolled in M. Phil Sociology at University of Sindh.


Currently, Mr. Murtaza renders services to Sindh Integrated Emergency & Health Services (SIEHS) as a Station Manager/Supervisor at Hyderabad District of Sindh Province.


Previously, he has more then 8–years professional experience working with different Non–Governmental Organizations (NGOs) on various key responsibilities ranging from Coordination & Liaising with donors & line departments and heading Business Development Component to write Proposals, Contents, Expression of Interests (EOIs), Letter of Interests (LOIs) and Policy Strategy of an organization & submit to national and international organizations. In addition to this, he has also implemented various projects on Family Planning, Maternal & Child Health (MCHIP), WASH, Education, Women Empowerment, Livelihood, Youth Empowerment and Health & Hygiene. He has been engaged with print media during Bachelor studies and wrote editorials and articles on national & international burning issues like socio–economic, political, and cultural and gender issues.


He was also honored to participate in E-Motive Exchange Visit of Nepal; and Training of Trainers (ToT) on Research & Survey in United Arab Emirates (UAE). The learnings of either visits were trickled down properly.

Ø  Maintain a record of all fee collections from beneficiaries/customers made on each ambulance;
Ø  Prepare Purchase Order for any requirements of the Station and follow up timely delivery;

Purpose of the Position:
Local Services Manager is responsible to develop co-creating HUB as a work space, create linkages and coordinate with HUB beneficiaries and business development support providers
Specific Responsibilities:
Local Services Manager will be responsible for model HUB development and to liaise between young women and training/services providers, Business Development Support Providers & market by delivering agricultural, entrepreneurship, ICT & life skills training.Provides support in HUB’s creating linkages and services between youth producers and buyers, youth clubs-job/trade fairs, internet platform and branding.
Local Services Managers will be responsible to formulate friends of HUB as an advisory board & facilitate annual meetings.
HUB membership fir UCC members put in place after 02 years of free service delivery from HUB.
Using HUB as co-creating (working) space and venue for related workshops, seminars and trainings to generate revenue etc.
Responsible to provide guidance for developing HUB’s at each district level.
Along with HUB/Local Services Manager will be responsible for host training by agricultural extension services, TEVTA, Universal Services Fund (IT Skills), Agri-Business Support Fund and MFIs (entrepreneurship) as well as responsible for developing Oxfam civil society and private partners covering SRH environmental awareness and confidence building.
LSM will be responsible to manage UCC payment for these monthly membership fees to HUB after two years for executing trainings and other services and this will form part of HUB’s business model.
