Major Job Responsibilities
o Obtain, prepare and check all necessary documents required to ensure that the documents meet the Customs requirements.
o Design, evaluate and review Good Deceleration as per requirement of Customs and Customers
o Dealing with Banks, Shipping Lines, Freight Forwarders, Ports/Air Line/Port/Sheds, Transporters and Sales team to ensure that we provide best services to our clients
o Funds Demand to Client for Customs Duties, Shipping line Charges, Port Charges, Transportation Rates and Service Charges as per Agreement/quotations.
o Use Government defines process and software WEBOC for filing Goods Declaration (GD) and other process which is involve in Customs Clearance and Delivery of shipments
o Make Arrangement for Goods Examination and assessment of GD through online system WEBOC
o Coordinate with PSQCA, HDIP, Department of Plant and Protection /Quarantine Dep. and other Govt. Authorities to get the NOC/ Release Certificate against Imported Items
o Responsible to clear/Release the goods from Customs, Ports & Shipping Agencies and Deliver to customers at their locations on time.
o Responsible for ensuring that goods are safely and efficiently transported,
o Making sure that cost-effective measures are taken in to account
o Provide support to sales team in matter of client relations and/or operational challenges.
Specific responsibilities:
o To ensure highest quality of customs clearance and customer services to M/S. Unilever Pakistan Ltd, Honda Atlas Cars Ltd. Roche Pakistan Ltd, Ali Gohar & Company Pvt Ltd., Merck Pakistan (Pvt.) Ltd. Fauji Akbar Portia Marine Terminals Ltd., Dewan Mushtaq Group, Procon Engineering Pvt Ltd, Volta Dies &Moulds, Precision Mats and others.
o Monitor daily and weekly report to Unilever, Honda Roche & Ali Gohar.
o To maintain & retain client loyalty and creating new clients from the Karachi market and maintaining up to the mark services for the current client list.
