Rawalpindi Institute of Cardiology (RIC) is a non-profit tertiary level cardiac hospital located in Rawalpindi, of the Punjab province of Pakistan. Established in 2012, RIC has nearly 50 departments which provide health facilities to several parts of the country.Responsibilities:

Managing Domain Controller, Backup Management, File Server, Intranet
Evaluation of existing network for System Admin purposes and possibilities of improvement
Managing Anti-Virus Systems with up-to-date signatures / patches.
Training and development activities of end-users in making them valuable business computer users regarding IT Security and healthy computing
IT system vulnerability analysis & Disaster Recovery drills / mocks executions
Tracking of Software Licenses, Maintaining Product Keys, Reporting and Procurement and Assuring Compliance.
Managing Power stability implementation by using UPS and Line conditioners for the Server Room and for all the network devices installed on all remote locations.
Assist purchase for preparing tenders and controlling the IT Budget.
Continual improvement of company IT resources

Nationwide Implementation of IT security processes, policies and procedures (Including Trace Intrusions, Harden the Security Structure) Management of WAN Based on Fiber for all Sites across Pakistan. IT Infrastructure Support to sites geographically distributed in all over Pakistan. Managing Domain Controller, Backup Management, File Server, Intranet etc.Managing Mail / Exchange Server, User Profiles, Quota limits, Webmail, Email Distribution Groups, Event log Management etc.Evaluation of existing network for System Admin purposes and possibilities of improvement.Managing Anti-Virus Systems with up-to-date signatures / patches.Training and development activities of end-users in making them valuable business computer users regarding IT Security and healthy computing and HSEQ.Conducting IT AuditsIT system vulnerability analysis & Disaster Recovery drills / mocks executions.Under Shared Services, supporting regional sites and users. Timely support and liaison with vendors for Remote site users IT issues IT Equipment / Consumables procurement in liaison with Finance and RBSM.Movements, procurements, warranty claims, insurance claims, replacements, and stock keeping management of IT Assets.Tracking of Software Licenses, Maintaining Product Keys, Reporting and Procurement and Assuring Compliance.Managing Power stability implementation by using UPS and Line conditionersServer Room and for all the network devices installed on all remote locations.Assist the finance manager for preparing and controlling the IT Budget.Continual improvement of company IT resourcesManaging the team (currently 1 resource)Evaluation of end user experience and support
