Responsibilities:
* Managing multiple Plant Upgradation projects (Brownfield) for increasing plant productivity.
* Managing a team of 20 staff members (Mechanical supervisors, Electricians, Workshop personnel, etc.) to optimize the plant\'s operational efficiency.
* Develop, negotiate and execute outsourced contractual work as per company policies.
* Preparing yearly budget & CAPEX. Technical correspondence with equipment/item vendors. Installation of approved CAPEX/budget equipment/items on the plant. Cost controlling of equipment maintenance.
* Reducing downtime of machines by proactive approach towards maintenance.
* Predictive, preventive & corrective maintenance of: 
- Flexographic printers (03 colors capability)
- Tubing machines (120,000 tubed bags/day) (GARTEMANN & HOLLMANN, GERMANY)
- Bottoming machine (220 Bags / min) (WINDMOHLER & HOLSCHER, GERMANY)
- Air compressor (11 & 15 KW) (MITSUI SEIKI, JAPAN & GARDENER DENVER, GERMANY)
- Hydraulic baling press
- Diesel engine generators including CUMMINGS, UK 80 KW, 100 KVA & Perkins UK 200 KW, 250 KVA. 
* Documenting maintenance logs of each machine. Preparing failure analysis reports of machines in case of breakdown occurs.
* Training store officer on Inventory control & Planning. Staff supervision, managing spares of each machine & their timely arrival at the store. 
* Supervising Mechanical workshop personnel for maintenance activities
* Erection & commissioning of Gardener Denver Air compressor (15 KW) along with Air dryer & air tank for bottoming machine.
* Supervised erection & commissioning of Perkins 250 KVA Diesel engine-powered generator.
* Implementing 5S & HSE principles on production floor

- Implemented and operated SAP (Systems, Applications & Products in Data Processing) Plant Maintenance & Material Management Module (End User) for Unit-01. 
- Assisting Line Manager in Plant Up-gradation projects.
- Developing comparative statements from supplier quotations on basis of performance and cost for selection and purchase of suitable equipment.
- Selecting best Industrial Gear oils for Heavy-duty Gearboxes of ball mills and Vertical raw Mills.
- Dismantling, Fabrication, Erection, and Painting of new Mechanical equipment
- Erection & Commissioning of mechanical equipment 
- Maintenance & troubleshooting of rotary & static equipment
- Site supervision with Predictive, Preventive, Corrective and Breakdown Maintenance of light & heavy duty gearboxes (Raw mill & Cement mill Main Gearboxes), bulk material handling systems (Bucket elevators (Chain & Belt type), Conveyor belts, Screw conveyors), Pneumatic conveying systems (Air slides), Vertical Roller Mill, Roller press, Ball Mill and bag-filters etc.
- Planning for annual shutdown maintenance and other small plant stoppages
- Official correspondence with supply chain department for equipment requirement at site.
- Inventory management of mechanical equipment of two Cement production lines using “Material Management Module” in SAP. Previously used Oracle-based Lucky Enterprise Resource Planning system (LERP). Monitoring all purchase indents & orders, Inspection of new and repaired equipment received at store, and issuance from store to site.
- Purchase and consumption budgeting of Unit-01 for the year 2014-2015 & 2015-2016 respectively.

Designed and manufactured a 100 watts “breeze air cooler” with capability of giving 2 hours backup time. “Raed Energy”, a self-started venture with a team of 5 members from diverse backgrounds.
1- Designed air-cooler body in software using Pro-E and hardware using fiber glass and metal sheets.
2- Led supply chain segment for procuring cost effective raw materials for manufacturing air-cooler body from local market. Assembled and dispatched 15 air coolers in 2 weeks to customers in Islamabad and Khyber Pukhtunkhua regions.

Thoroughly examined storage tanks, diesel engines and its lubrication system, turbine, electrical generators, Plant’s backup system in case power failure occurs, fire alarm system, cooling towers, mechanical maintenance of MAN diesel engine parts and control room operating features. Compiled progress report. Identified key problems inside power plant regarding low power output in summer due to high temperature. Developed and presented practical solutions to the problems with viable suggestions.
