I started my career working for Nestle Pakistan in the Corporate Affairs Departments as an intern which was upgraded to a contractual consultant for their Corporate Social Responsibility projects. I joined the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan as an outsourced employee in the Company Registration Office and transferred to the Securities Market Division after 2 months where I started in the Inspection wing. After I was promoted to a Management Executive, I have worked in the Surveillance Wing, Investigation Wing. I am currently serving as an Assistant Director, in the Policy Regulation and Development Department, understanding, researching and perfecting the Capital Markets.
The nature of my current job under the ministry of Finance has involved me with various organisation which include the State Bank of Pakistan, Federal Board of Revenue, Planning Commission etc, which has diversified my exposure in regulatory affairs, tax regimes, anti money laundering etc.
