• Operation and maintenance of substation equipments including, issuing safety work permits, troubleshooting, condition monitoring of synchronizing control panel.
• Maintenance transformers (5.5kv/415v), Circuit breakers (vacuum, oil and air), CTs and PTs, Battery chargers etc.
• Operation and maintenance of control and relays, HT and LT panels etc.
• Operation, control and maintenance of HT and LT motors.
• PLC based control panel.
• Installation of H.T and L.T cables
• Prepare/checking of various electrical drawing documents such as single line diagrams, area classification drawings, schematic diagrams load lists, equipment layout, cable diagrams, interconnection drawings, specification and data sheet for equipment.
• HT and LT motors Megger testing, TTL testing of transformer , motors IP testing and Earthing
• Installation of VFD on motors at various applications (boilers fan, juice pumps, cane crushing, sugar centrifugal machine and water spray pumps).

Responsibilities:
• Supervision of Steel Rolling plant and continuous operation –Fault Diagnosis & troubleshooting, Maintain log book and reported to Plant Head –training of technical staff – Duties during plant shutdown – Implementation of SOPs, Work orders and To make available the necessary spare parts
• Preparing electrical drawing and specification
• Finding the problems and suggest the best possible solution
• Handling of Electrical load as per requirement .
• Lay down of HT(11KV) and LT cables.
• Monitoring & control of SCADA & PLC based control panel , Proximate Sensor(PNP-NPN),Photocells ,HMDs ,Loop scanners ,BLS and BLV sensors ,flow switches ,FLS, Thermocouples.
• Maintenance of transformers (11kv/415v & 11kv/690), Circuit breakers (vacuum, air), CTs and PTs, Battery chargers etc
• Installation of VFD on motors (Siemens Sinamics S120-130, G-130) at various applications (boilers fan, rolling mill vertical and horizontal stands motors, shears motors ,cooling bed, roller ways, chain transfer & water spray pumps).
