JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

* To manage and organized Department staff to perform smooth operation in all three shifts with competent supervision.

* Document and utilize current production procedures to improve company standards and Production department.

* To ensure that proper operation and real inspection as per SOP of the department and their effectiveness achieved.

* Execution of job set out at machine and coordinates with QC department.

* Responsible for process improvement studies in the context of loss prevention.

* To monitor all furnace and fore hearth temperature and set the gas air ratio w.r.to pull of glass.

* Define the monthly production plan and raw material consumption for adequate budgetary control.

* To review batch raw material weighing and mixing according to the requirements.

* To ensure that all measuring and test equipment are identified calibrate and certified

* To maintain the inventory of refractory and spare part for maintenance of operation.

* Define the KPI’s of operation, batch plant, lab & furnace regenerator 100% opening and implement on concern department.

* Preventive measure with written documentation (CAPA) to control and prevent to recurrence.

* Coordinate with other department head and resolve issue internally/externally amicably.

* To ensure the energy balance of overall plant as per optimum level.

* Work out for risk management system in case of auto system failure.

* Performed research and designed various manufacturing processes that helped in reducing cost and time

o Testing of all chemicals including dye pigment and maintain its record.
o Performed data reduction and analysis and prepared reports, R&D briefings and safety documentation.
o Maintained compliance with safety guidelines and company SOPs in handling toxic chemicals.
o Perform bulk test on a sit when necessary
