Hands on experience to develop different compounds of NR, SBR, PBR, NBR, ACM, NEOPRENE, HNBR, XNBR, EPDM, BBR, CSM, ENR, Silicone Rubber etc.
Leads the design and development of formulations for new products and applies engineering best practices and tools.
Develop, Conduct and analyze research and development studies.
Manage, Coordinate and provide assistance in special projects as needed.
Ensures quality of new recipes and products for usability, reliability, functionality, marketability and manufacturability.
To ensure all the rubber properties/quality according to ASTM Standards through lab tests like TGA, FTIR, Mooney Viscometer, Tensile/Elongation test, Hardness test, Abrasion resistance test, Thermal Aging/ Oil aging test, Moving Die Rheometer test, Compression set test, Endurance test etc.
Lead and direct routine compliance functions related to manufacturing in composition & production department.
Monitor and control programs to ensure smooth operations and identify issues if any.
Development and assurance of various standards & protocols for all processes in composition section.
Plan, schedule and coordinate resources to prepare proper documentation consistently with company objectives.
Ensure to resolve all identified problems in compounding section.
Responsible for the regulatory requirements specific to the rubber labs and ensures all users are incompliance with those standards.
Ensure lab assistants have been trained on the correct use of lab equipments and tools.
Responsible for all testing done related to rubber and maintenance of records includes testing, repair & maintenance of equipments and calibration.
Perform performance evaluations of immediate staff on quarterly basis.
Developing department staff through formal and informal coaching, counseling & mentoring sessions.
Any other task related to R&D/Composition assigned by HOD/Higher Management.
