shift engineer
• Responsible for preventive and routine maintenance activities of cane carrier and cutters,mill rollers,crown gears,steam turbines, boilers,compressor and pumps.
• Monitoring of startup,shutdown,troubleshooting and emergency handling of power generation system.
• Execution of safe operation of 02 Nos x 1500KW (Blohm &Voss) single shaft steam turbines and 03 Nos x 22 ton/hr (Babcock & wilcox) Bagasse fired water tube boilers at standard operating procedures.
• Provide technical support in case of any fault or emergency work.
• Preparing and tracking of imported and local requisitions of spare parts.
• Understanding of mechanical and hydraulic drawings.
• Maintain and update complete documentation, log books,daily reports, production and consumption records.
• Preparation of drawings in autocad.
• Perform failure analysis and recommend solutions for rectifying the condition.
• Adopt and implement a detailed maintenance plan to minimize failures resulting in stoppage of work.
• Maintain inventory of the eqiupments and spare parts.
• Conduct work activities in safe manner in compliance with safety regulations.
