Responsible for all aspects of underground work including cable pulling and aerial cable installation.
Responsibe for installation of electric instruments, Single phase power meter & DB, Three phase power meter & DB, MCB, MCCB, ELCB, RCCB, Volt meter, Amp meter, CT, PT, ATS pannel, DG, UPS, Battery bank, DCDU, Rectifier, SPD, LLVD and BLLVD.
VOIP Operations & Maintenance
Fault Management takes end-to-end responsibility for corrective maintenance of VOIP problems.
Responsible for maintanence of primary & redundant fiber cable links of VOIP nodes.
Configure VOIP phones, Datacom switches at PO/PS and establish connectivity between VOIP phone & Datacenter.
Responsible to arrange access for field teams on Police Offices & Police Stations.
Camera Operations & Maintenance
Responsible for corrective maintenance of IPNV, ANPR, JTMS, FR & DOME Cameras.
Maintain & restore JT, NV, RL & PS sites primary & secondary fiber cable paths.
Resolve Datacom issues in coordination with Datacom team.
Configure Routers at Camera sites & establish connectivity between Camera site & Datacenter.
Traffic Signals Operations & Maintenance
Responsible for corrective maintenance of PTSC sites & traffic signals.
Restore primary & redundant fiber cable links of PTSC sites.
Resolve Datacom issues in coordination with Datacom team.
Mobile Security Vehicles Operations & Maintenance
Responsible for corrective maintenance of PRU, Single cabin & Prison security vehicles.
Repair, replace & maintain security vehicles cameras.
Design & install fitting brackets for security vehicles as per customer demand.
Leading O&M and project teams in the Central Region. Ensuring network avalibility and deployment of DSL, ADSL, LDI & FTTH customers and providing Internet, VPN, MPLS and VOIP services over Fiber Optic media to Corporate Customers.
Responsible to update & close problem tickets in the BSS database after getting issues resolved by field teams.
Responsible to update technical information of customers in the BSS database after deployment of new customers.
Provide support & guidance to teams to rectify & resolve issues by using network monitoring tools NMS, Solarwinds, Liber NMS & Observim & with support of Datacom team & NOC.
Responsible to provide technical support to customers to rectify & resolve the complaints and deployment links of new customers with in given timeline.
Conduct site survey from nearest OFC jount box or hand hole for deployment of new customers.
Responsible to secure both primary & redundant optical fiber cable paths of nodes to provide maximum up time, in case of any damage responsible to align splicing team for restoration of OFC cut.
Responsible for nodes to provide proper electricity power plan to secure the node from any power outage, in case of any power issue responsible to align teams for restoration of power issues.
Administer the installation of outside and interior copper and fiber optic cabling, fiber optic modems, and fiber multiplexer.
Supervise the installation of Routers, Switches, Media Gateway, UMUX, ODF, Ducts, Racks, I/O patch Panels, Coupling Patch Pannel, Tag Blocks, UPS, Battery Bank, ATS Pannel, Genset, lightning protection, supporting ground & power connections and other support structures for the protection and aesthetics of telecommunication & fiber cable cables equipment.
Install wireless & land line PCO phones.
Install Tag Blocks in PTCL MDF room.
Install data cable (50 pairs, 100 pairs) between LPU unit & Tag Block from switching room to MDF room.
Install jumper wire between PTCL Tag Block & private Tag Block to make connection between LPU cabinet & PTCL land line network for securing client end phone device to make calls only through payphone card.
Coordinate with PTCL line man to make connection in the field cabinet on the allocated pair allotted from PTCL MDF staff.
Tune PCO phone for make link between PCO phone & NMS.
Install LPUs at node end.
Install rectifier in LPU cabinet & make power connections.
LQT process with PTCL staff to getting approval for new PCO setups.
