I express my interest in a position commensurate to my qualifications, preferably in the field of Communications. Being M.phil Mass Communication, working as Communication Officer with Norwegian Church Aid, I believe that I have the relevant competencies, passion and the commitment to assist team of an organization in the capacity of communication worker.
I have been a team member of the Food and Agriculture organization of the United Nations and Red Crescent movement in Pakistan working Assistant Media Communications, before which I served at an Administrative position with Swiss Development and Cooperation Agency. This association provided me with an opportunity to understand policy development and implementation for programme communication, event management and administration.
During the course of my professional experience with UNFAO and SDC I have gained good understanding of the communication strategies in international level organization. I have always been keen to work in an environment that encourages diversity appreciates multiculturalism and makes use of a wide-pool of talent. I possess strong interpersonal skills and recognized as a team player and a proactive person. Being able to work on a number of different projects during my professional attachment with different organizations has enabled me to develop sound organizational skills. I value diversity, appreciate learning from others and respect people from all walks of life.

Supporting and assisting Communications at FAO Pakistan Representation in visibility, outreach and advocacy project
Assist in arranging media coverage, dissemination and follow up activities on a range of events of the FAO programmes in Representation and FAOPK field offices such as conferences, workshops, international days and other meetings.
Initiate preparation of press releases, write-ups, leaflets, project fact sheets, talking points, note taking and power point presentations.
Design graphics and animation, using independent judgment, creativity, and computer equipment. Design Templates, brochures, layouts.
Develop briefings, brochures, leaflets, multimedia presentations, web pages, promotional products, technical illustrations, and computer artwork for use in products, technical manuals, literature, newsletters and slide shows.
Arrange and catalogue photographs from the field and take photographs as and when required
Pitch material regularly to Communication Officer in Islamabad for FAO Corporate communication channels
Update the photo database with captioning all the photos and organizing the photo libraries.
Liaise with Information management team to accomplish communication objectives.
Assist in preparation of social media content
