The role/responsibilities.
Monitoring: Undertake field visits as per the work plan shared by RIZ for monitoring of the APEX field teams in accordance to the formats set by the Organization
Monitor morning and evening meeting of APEX field teams (whenever possible).
Record Keeping: Responsible for maintaining chronological record (programmatic) including activity photographs, means of verification, minutes of meetings (morning & evening) and field monitoring reports etc. of all the field activities at district level .
Reporting: Prepare daily reports for the visits and submit to supervisor
Means of Verification (MOV) Provide means of verification to assigned supervisor for each cluster visited by taking snapshots with watermark with cluster identification and APEX field teams or APEX AFO and submit pictures with complete details. Provide MOV for wrong household markings etc. and submit to supervisor on daily basis along with details.
Reporting: Share comprehensive reports and data with team supervisor Coordinate with assigned Security Coordinator strictly when unable to resolve it through the superviso.
Travel from her/his home town to provincial/regional location to attend 05 days training workshop to capacitate herself/himself on Early Grade Reading Assessment (EGRA).
Travel to Allocated District field and perform necessary coordination with school heads where students and teachers will be assessed from selected schools.
Ensure to perform pre-school departure activities as per training before visiting any school.
Assess graduate of grade 2 student for Urdu language and also observe Urdu language class in selected schools.
Visit a school on daily basis as per schedule.
Perform post-school activities as per provided training to perform necessary verification & validation.
Under the management of the project manager be responsible for to Facilitate In-service professional development activities in the /Tehsil/District that include Face-to-face trainings.
Follow-ups and roll out of TIG activities.
Support to teachers in implementing newly learned concepts and skills through regular follow-up support visits to schools.
Close collaboration with teachers, head teachers and concerned education officer(s) in preparing and implementing school/ based reading improvement plans and strategies.
Assist Agency Program Manager in managing administrative and logistic issue for a smooth implementation of program activities in the District.
Assist Agency Program Manager in developing monthly cash projection against program activities, disbursement of project beneficiary allowances, district based procurement (as and where needed) and maintaining update financial and compliance records/matters.
Assist Agency Program Manager in compiling monthly, quarterly and annual progress reports by providing updated and accurate information from field. In addition, collect and share success stories from the field to highlight impact of the program.
Prepare/partake in detailed weekly/monthly plans including field travels/school visits while adhering to quarterly/annual/LOP work plan targets and indicators.
Ensure proper record keeping of the TIG meetings, follow-up visit, and teacher observation tools and reporting those to the Agency office accordingly.
Collect content analytics from tablets. Provide updated contents, and first level support to tablet users about tablet and multimedia content.
Responsibility to ensure the effective implementation of food distribution/ WFP project and community outreach activities in the field. Develop micro plan of community outreach activities in consultation with the team leader.Community sensitization on the program objectives and methods to stimulate & eventually promote the understanding and participation of the target population. Community sensitization starts at village- and Community-leader levels and eventually extends to the entire population. Establishment of community committees. Complete understanding of the project and its implementation strategy Identification and selection of the targeted villages in each UC as per set criteria being given by the PM or Monitoring officer. Initial contact with the target communities for the introduction of the Project and informing the communities of the social organisation strategy of the Project Establishment of the Village Committees (VC) in the targeted villages as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) Training of VC members in the Community management skills such as record keeping etc. Maintenance of the record of the VC by the VC members in the desired form. Door to door assessment and identification of the beneficiaries for each component of the project as per SOPs. Finalization of the beneficiaries through active involvement of the VC members. Regular field visits and conduct the community meetings frequently. Under the direct supervision of the Project manager, he/she will perform community mobilization activities at community level in accordance with the culture and norms of the target population. conflict resolution if faced during the project implementation among the beneficiaries on the project activities through social conflict resolution process. Monitor all the project activities being carried out by the VC members and will reflect them in their daily reports which will be submitted to Monitoring Officer and Project Manager Food Security. Acting as bridge between community members and the project staff such as Agriculture Officer and Project Manager. Collect data as required by the program as per formats being issued to them from time to time by the management staff. He/She will build close partnership with the target communities through regular meetings with them on appropriate intervals. Verify beneficiaries’ names and signatures and consistency with CNIC for food distribution.Distribute the food to the registered beneficiaries as per schedule and amount indicated in the distribution plan.Check, complete documentation and process for the foodMaintain records in hard and soft of all the food distribution as required and guided by project manager.Submit the requested documentation on daily basis, making sure that it is complete and accurate.Ensure implementation of all donor guidelines with regard to disbursements of food.
Prior to data collection, establish and manage relationships with government officials and school administrators.
Participate in and assist training sessions on standardized administration of EGRA tools and survey questionnaires.
If required, serve as a master trainer to lead a training of enumerators and field supervisors on standardized administration of EGRA tools and survey questionnaires.
Oversee and help to organize the field administration of the operational tools.
Ensure compliance with standardized procedures and protocols for the administration of the EGRA tool and the survey questionnaires.
Serve as the contacts and point persons for EGRA’s technical staff during data collection.

Mobilizing communities for health and hygiene promotion and the implementation of PHAST activities in selected IDP camps and catchments population.
Collecting and registering the required data from respective IDP camp and catchments’ population
Represent Merlin field staff and closely work together with MoH and Camp management staff
Organizing and conducting Health Education sessions to various IDP camps
Detect the communicable diseases and follow-up defaulters regarding preventive health care, through home-visiting

Promote utilization of services available at nearby health facilities with in respective IDPs.
Other tasks as designated by the Medical Doctor/National Health Promotion Coordinator
