Reporting /Liaison Officer
Assist in establishing or strengthening partnerships with NGOs and humanitarian actors to promote joint and collaborative emergency response and preparedness activities.
Support the Head of the Field Coordination Unit ensuring strategic and operational coordination mechanisms in relation to the national NGO community in support disaster preparedness and response activities.
Liaise with NGOs, local authorities with the aims of facilitating coordination; assist in strengthening relationships between NGOs the community/humanitarian actors.
Partner with humanitarian agencies to plan and evaluate humanitarian assistance programs and help to ensure latest findings, policy guidelines etc. are incorporated into activities, including gender-related considerations.
Undertake and provide support to technical assistance and other field missions, e.g. participate in field trips to undertake in-depth reviews of specific coverage areas coordination mechanism.
