As a Finance Manager, I have the following roles and responsibilities:
§  Overall management of financial operations of the Company including proper maintenance of financials records and preparation of financial statements in accordance with applicable International Financial Accounting Standards and Companies Act, 2017.
§  Managing and presenting monthly Management Information System (MIS) reports to the CFO and CEO.
§  Perpetual development of SAP ECC 6.07- FI & CO.
§  Preparation of Annual Budget & Forecast for the company based on the industry research.
§  Assist in preparation, analysis and reporting of Feasibility reports for short-term and long-term projects.
§  Product costing which includes monitoring monthly Cost estimate`s planning, analyzing cost behavior, actual and standard cost comparison, variance analysis, compiling results & ensuring efficient flow of costs.
§  Looking after Company`s Taxation related matters including filing of Annual Income Tax Returns, attend proceedings against notices of demand, refund and tax audits.
§  Ensuring the compliance of Company`s Legal and Corporate matters in accordance with applicable Legal laws.
§  Coordination and liaison with Internal and External auditors.
§  Preparation of Statutory Cost Audit Report with related annexure where applicable.
§  Development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to strengthen controls over day to day operations.

As an Assistant Manager, my key responsibilities entailed the following;
§  Provide assistance in preparing and e-filing of annual Income Tax, monthly Federal or Provincial sales tax returns of various national and multi-national clients with FBR and also provides assistance to clients in filing of refunds and thereafter getting the refunds processed with concerned jurisdiction. 
§  Manage and review replies to the notices, audit observations and show cause notices and thereafter meeting with the concerned authorities to explain the legal and factual position and get the matter disposed of.
§  Provide assistance in preparing and filing of appeal before the Commissioner (Appeals), Appellate Tribunal including representations before Federal Tax Ombudsmen.
