Understanding and processing manpower requisition from various departments.
Supervision of record keeping of job application forms received from candidates.
Shortlisting/Screening of applications received and arrangements of tests/interviews.
Finalization of Proceedings of various Selection Boards/Committees.
Providing support to all new inductees at the time of joining.
Verification of documents of employees from various Boards/Universities.
Forwarding cases of Renewal, Extension, Confirmation, Resignation, Final Settlement etc.
Supervision of employees’ record keeping both in hard & soft copies.
Performance Appraisal.
Supervision of Medical facility provided to employees.
Preparation of Reports for Higher Education Commission, Pakistan Engineering Council etc.
Attendance & Leave Balance supervision.
Coordination with Finance department in Payroll process.
Any other task assigned by the Registrar/Deputy Registrar.
Ensured implementation of the Institute’s policies.
Provided work direction to clerical and technical staff directly and through subordinates.
Provided maximum support to the Research / Scientific staff for setting up their laboratories, visit to various hospitals, research centres etc.
Correspondence and dealing with suppliers for procurement of items & Tender opening.
Issuance of Office Orders.
Grant of Leave to employees.
Approval of Store/Stationery/Transport requisitions received from various departments.
Supervision of Attendance verification report.
Coordination with Finance department for purchases, overtime issues, salary disbursement etc.
Recruiting of staff and arrangements for tests/interviews.
Supervision of all HR related issues.
Responsible for safe & secure campus environment through subordinates.
Arrangements for staff’s accommodation within the Institute’s premises.
Any other work assigned by the Director General
Read and analyze incoming letters, circulars, reports, files in order to determine their significance and plan their distribution.
Preparation of papers for presentation by the Managing Director.
Scheduling of Meetings for the Managing Director.
Making travel arrangements for the Managing Director.
Receive and screen phone calls and redirect them when appropriate.
Responsible for managing the confidential records held in MD Secretariat.
Any other work assigned by the Managing Director.
