Working as Sector Specialist-Financial Management in BPS-20.
 Ensuring appropriate financing structures and forums for various development projects by evaluating the investment proposals, in close coordination with the Appraisal Committees /approving forums such as Public Investment Authorization (PIA), Public Investment Programming (PIP), Central Development Working Party (CDWP) & Departmental Development Working Party (DDWP).
 Working at the Economic Appraisal Section (EAS) to identify financial risks and their impact while highlighting mitigation strategies for the PC-1s. Working closely with the Chief Economist/Head of CPEC Cell for CPEC-related development projects & with the Public Private Partnership Authority for smooth implementation of public-private partnership (PPP) measures to boost coordination with the private sector for a sustainable public infrastructure development ecosystem.
 Working in close liaison with the M/O Finance, M/O Economic Affairs, Donors, and International Agencies for PSDP & non-PSDP development projects and SDGs funding. Establishing entrenched relationships with the debt/capital market including Banks, Funds, Insurance companies, and the Central Bank on the fiscal sustainability of public finances
 Evaluating the cost of production for various commodities in Pakistan benchmarking the pricing of commodities against global market standards and analyzing the pricing/cost structures of similar commodities in other countries, under liaison with Support price committees.

Established a greenfield pharmaceutical manufacturing-export-oriented unit at SITE-2, Karachi, Pakistan.

Advisory for the Credit & Investment transactions for large & SME manufacturing units: Equity Capital raising, working capital, Restructuring for delinquent businesses, and Trade Finance Services.

Managing 25 branches. Liability, consumer assets, SME & Commercial and Corporate banking portfolios.

·         Managed a Corporate credit portfolio for approx. PKR 100 Billion while posted at three different business hubs-all corporate banking products to top-notch corporates of the regions.
Successfully restructured the delinquent portfolio resulting in consistent debt servicing and meeting the income targets for the units.
·         Managed the cash management unit for the corporate portfolio.

·         Established the Corporate center for the region, post PICIC merger and centralized all corporate banking relationships.
·         Hired and managed a team of RMs/RAs, Trade & CAD officers.
·         Managed a credit portfolio of PKR 14 Billion and a team of RMs/RAs.
·         Ensured repayments from stuck up accounts and successfully reduced the risk exposure.
·         Successfully negotiated and restructured the NPLs through strategic management and entrenched relationship management

·         Managed the Corporate credit exposure of AED 4 Billion.
·         Added new to bank customers for AED 650 Million.

·         Established the hubs and hired a team of RMs.
·         Structured the delinquent and SAM portfolio.
·         RAR exercise for the post-merger and restructured portfolio. 

·         Managed a portfolio of 12 Billion for the top tier corporate customers from Textile, electronics, steel, food, sugar and other miscellaneous sectors.
·         Booked new client and managed existing portfolio along with a team, allocation of limits, daily activities of the accounts, legal formalities as per the organization and Central bank’s guidelines.
·         Instrumental for receivables through aggressive collection strategies and establishing constructive dialogue with delinquent accounts.

Initiated the SME business for the hub branches (Gulberg, Upper Mall & Cavalry Ground) by booking new to bank customers

·         Rolled out and managed the newly launched house finance product for the bank’s main branch.

·         Responsible for managing the existing mortgage finance exposure as well as booking of new loans.
