The aim of the study is to design a truncated and modified toxin protein that could be used for more potent immunotoxins which consists of an antibody joined to a toxin and is designed to kill specifically tumor cells. This involves the recombinant expression and purification of truncated form of fusion protein \"Exotoxin A\" produced by the pathogenic bacterium Pseudomonas aeruginosa in Escherichia coli. Exotoxin A is the most potent virulance factor of the bacterium but the extensive modifications in the toxin would redirect its potent cytotoxicity from disease to a therapeutic function.
