I am optimistic to involve in this challenging fellowship because of multidimensional attributes of my personality. I do consider myself academically sound and professionally competent to independently work in an environment of national and international posture. I always feel determined and dedicated to accept new research challenges. Moreover, the sense of thought is that bounty by which man dominates over all other creations. With an academic profile of 70-80 %; I have recently completed my Ph. D (Economics) coursework right at the moment and I am developing synopsis for the research.
I got an opportunity to Summer School in Environment and Resource Economics organized by the South Asian Network for Development and Environment Economics (SANDEE) from May 9-26, 2016 in AITCC, Asian Institute of Technology, Pathumthani, Thailand. I presented my project on “The Impact of Climate Change on Food Security and Glacier: A case Study in Gilgit Baltistan”. I am competent to undertake research and analytical activities as I have proved my worth as researcher in various primary and secondary data based studies. I am fairly good in data analysis and report writing as is evident in the Sugarcane and Food Security reports conducted with Lok Sanjh Foundation and ActionAid Pakistan. I also did a very interesting work with Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) on multidimensional poverty by collecting a household level data from some districts of Punjab in 2014. During such research endeavors, I got refined my analytical software proficiency particularly in statistical packages like SPSS and STATA.
I strongly believe that an intellectual guidance enlightens the personal guts. I got opportunity of learning in great institutions under the mentorship of intellectual teachers to achieve aspiration thorough hard work, demonstration of responsibility and seriousness.
