I have more than ten years of experience in Rural Development in Pakistan. My core expertise are in monitoring evaluation and research, data analysis, project management, report writing, knowledge management and communication. I am recently working as Communication Analyst with Aga Khan Rural Support Programme. I previously worked as Project manager for (3 years) and Monitoring and Research Coordinator (3 years) with Aga Khan Rural Support Program Pakistan, it is an international private non-denominational, and support agency; It seeks sustainable solution to long-term problems of poverty with especially emphasis on the needs of rural communities in mountainous and other resources poor areas. I have conducted several pre and post assessment surveys in Northern Areas and Chitral and took a lead role to conduct micro-economic research measuring cost/benefit and impact of programme interventions; monitor and evaluate the effects of ongoing projects; support the Regional Offices staff on annual planning process, reporting procedures focusing on statistical analysis. I have also worked on methodology design, questionnaire preparation, and supervision of data collection, data analysis and report writing of AKRSP’s two major surveys, Institutional Development Survey 2009 and Socio- Economic Survey of the Gilgit Baltistan Chitral (SESGBC 2008). Moreover I have developed different project proposals for different infrastructure and social sector projects. I have worked in planning, monitoring and evaluation of different projects and conducted case studies and opinion polling exercises. I have master’s degree in Economics from Karakuram International University Gilgit, Pakistan. I have attended several national and international training on monitoring and evaluation and project management. I have one year diploma in leadership and management from NRSP-IRM and certificate on Participatory Planning Monitoring and Evaluation with Wageningen International Netherlands.
I am responsible to contribute towards production of knowledge/communication material of the organization and its dissemination in and communication to the organization\'s staff and its stakeholders. Following are my major responsibilities;
Assist in the development of systems and tools to better disseminate the knowledge produced by the organization and external institutions.
With technical support from IT section, facilitate the design and development of ICT tools for knowledge management and its wider dissemination.
Collection of reports and data for newspapers and publications and coordinate in work related to designing and printing.
Formatting and review of websites, reports, proposals and other related documents of the organization.
Assist in preparation of communication plans, communication material (documentaries, booklets, brushers, pamphlets, newsletters, banners, posters, radio and cables messages, folders etc.), arrangement of events and engagement of media.
Documentation and sharing/dissemination of information, best practices and publicity material including online resources with the organization\'s staff and related stakeholders.
Responsible for the overall management, implementation and monitoring of ECC/UBR Project funded by Plan International Pakistan, it is a 3 years project aims to develop the computerized data base and ensure the registration of every birth and all the children below 18 years. The project will be implemented in 7 districts of Gilgit Baltistan. Since I have recently joined the project and some of my achievements are;
