Recommender System For Online Shopping

The heading of our project is “Recommender system for online shopping.” In this project, we have discussed basic codes and algorithms for applying a recommender system. This comprises database design, which today is used most often used for advance of database applications. As we know that an enormous amount of data occurs on the web .So it is not possible for the users to get their concerned or interested items on the web and it also waste the time of users to reach their interested items. So we have used two basic recommending techniques i-e user based and item based recommendation so that a user can easily search the interested items in a limited time. The basic objective of our project is to save the time of people by Recommending useful and interesting items to the users. This project has two players i-e Administrator and Users. An administrator can manage, record edit or delete information or items from users. The request and services information is secured by login and password, which can be assigned to the main users of the system i.e. Administrator, registered user; all of the two users have their own specific rights. This system is user friendly; navigation/searching is easy and has good error handling capabilities. Interface of the system is designed keeping in mind that it should be good looking, attractive at first sight, easy to understand and self-explanatory. As every process is revolutionized, so we have tried our level best to develop a reliable and better system for the user to online shopping.
