Liaise with GPs and BMUs in their respective catchment areas in order to send suspect TB patients to the right clinics, flagging any cases suspected of DR-TB
Visit TB treatment and diagnostic centres, BMUs and GP Clinics for referral CAT-II failure patients
Report all adverse events/unusual events via patient incidence reporting to the team
Identify treatment supporters for patients
Refer Patients to nearest PMDT site for free Gen-Expert testing
Randomly visit patients’ homes to monitor treatment supporters (TS) activities
Monitor compliance of all rules and regulations around drug storage and administration for TSs and patients
Outline the PE’s (F) daily work plan at the beginning of each day
Follow up on potential default DOTS and DR-TB patients through phone calls and household visits
Share details of missing or non-responsive patients with the coordinator’s manager; attempt to retrieve these patients
Monitor contact screening every six months of patients’ close family members
Prepare and update the OPD monthly follow-up list of patients – to be shared with the team.
Prepare weekly reports reviewing performance for submission to head of the office
Update all patient files and reports
Prepare tentative monthly work plans and daily activity sheets, along with BMU visit details
Prepare monthly claims for reimbursement along and mapping reports
Facilitate hospitalisation with appropriate doctors and staff of the PMDT sites and referral hospitals for patients
Coordinate all other assignments and tasks with the Supervisor/Manager

Support women’s and men’s groups, religious leaders and local community leaders to develop, implement and monitor child marriage prevention strategies. Institutionalization of reporting and referral mechanisms at provincial/district level (Social Welfare & Women Development, police, press clubs, health, education) to respond effectively for the prevention, referral and rehabilitation of the victims of early marriages. Organize training sessions and seminars for youth, caretakers and gatekeepers to access social and institutional safety nets against victims of early marriages. Raising awareness at grassroots especially youth, women and sexual minorities for the prevention of vulnerabilities and risks related to HIV & AIDs and sexually transmitted infections. Sensitized stakeholders (National / Provincial AIDS Control Program, parliamentarians, civil society, media, health service providers, Health, Education, Youth Affairs & Population Department of provincial governments) to advocate for more resources, stronger implementation of strategic frameworks and public/private partnerships for HIV/AIDS prevention, treatment and care
