I am an MBA (Finance) from the “National University of Modern Languages, Islamabad” and also have the degree of Bachelor of Commerce from “University of The Punjab”. I have sound knowledge of computer application as well and have practical experience of more than 15 years in different sectors (Specifically last 5 years in research and development sector), emergency relief response program, administration, finance and audit in private, public and banking sector. I have excellent interpersonal skills and ability to undertake challenging responsibilities.
FINANCE:
• Maintain existing financial systems including petty cash, expenses, mileage claims, and income and expenditure records, process all payments through Cash flow and monthly bank reconciliation statement.
• Prepare Project Budgets,
• Log and submit all claims to appropriate funding body (multiple funders) and maintain all relevant paper work in good order,
• Provide Management Committee with full monthly financial report,
• Assist in the preparation of annual accounts,
• Assist with project financial related work as required.
OFFICE MANAGEMENT:
• Overall day to day office management,
• Organize, maintain and tidy the office area and equipment,
• Be proactive in finding more efficient ways of working through use of new tools or procedures,
• Ensure knowledge of staff movements in and out of project maintaining a diary system for all staff either manually or electronically,
• General administrative support including preparing letters and documents, receive and sort mail and deliveries, schedule appointments,
• Organize meetings for the staff team and also the Management Committee,
• Help to support occasional project volunteers,
• Ensure data is backed up,
• Assist with project related administrative work as required.
FIELD WORK MANAGEMENT: (As a Survey Supervisor)
• Design and prepare survey instruments,
• Train enumerators on tools and techniques of data collection prior to field work,
• Formulate enumeration / field plan and logistics,
• Execute field work,
• Quality assurance of data collection,
• For Data Analysis and Reporting data entry and data cleaning using CS Pro 5.0 and SPSS,
• Other tasks as assigned by the Director and the Chairman.
• To assist the finance officer in the overall working of the Finance department.
• Preparation and booking of all financial transactions.
• Assist in preparation of periodical financial reports.
• Deal with bank, EOBI and tax departments.
• Preparation and processing of payroll.
• Preparation of monthly bank reconciliation statement.
• To work as a cash custodian and maintain daily cash count sheet.
• Prepare vouchers (Cash, Bank and Journal Vouchers) on a daily basis.
• Check bills/documents received from different sectors.
• Assure compliance with policies and procedures before making any payments.
