Noor Ul Qamar is a young engineer who has deep love to interpret things critically and analytically. He is 23 years old and hails from the beautiful ancient city of Lahore located in the eastern part of Pakistan. He completed his intermediate education from Government College Lahore which has a rich history in giving great pioneers to the country in the past. He completed his Electrical Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, the oldest engineering institute present in the country. During his engineering career, he studied in depth high voltage power systems and industrial electronics where his interest and love for electrical and electronics engineering enhanced at a steady pace. He is known for his dynamic potential in analyzing advanced machinery and generation plants with a great sense to decipher the things with minute details. In 2018, he got selected as an intern at Lahore Electric Supply Company Organization (LESCO), a government organization responsible for the distribution of electricity to local and commercial consumers in Lahore division. During his internship, he worked under the supervision of Resident Engineer Shalimar Gardens at 132kV Grid Station.
Currently, he is serving as Trainee Engineer with TRANSFOPOWER, an organization that specializes in manufacturing distribution transformers and Energy Meters in the country. He is well known for his expertise in the domains of electronics controllers and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) that are in use at power industries. He has experience working with the SIEMENS S7-1200 and FATEK MC Type Controllers. He is a skilled professional of printed circuit board designing and interfacing them with different micro-controllers. His research interests include the deep understanding of controllers utilized in high voltage systems and exploring the testing methodologies that provide efficient distribution of power in a community.
