During my academics, I participated in several advanced multi-disciplinary projects. In my Master’s Thesis, I studied crop water stresses using thermal imaging and state-of-the-art soil moisture sensors, and proposed strategies to improve estimation accuracies. This study expanded my skill set and knowledge in Precision Agriculture. For my Bachelor’s Final Year Project, I, with a team, designed and manufactured a convertible wheelchair-bed for paraplegic patients. This hybrid unit was equipped with differential drive mechanism for mobility, which was further controlled by user.
Recently I completed an internship at PEL, Lahore, as a Sales Engineering Intern, during which, I studied about Switchgear Panels, Transformers, and relevant production standards. Also, I had the opportunity to learn extensively about sales processes, hone my client management skills, focus on improving negotiation tactics, and learn fundamentals of project management and technical documentation.
I am proficient in utilizing several software platforms for documentation and presentations (MS Office, LaTeX), programming (C/C++, Python, MATLAB), circuit design and simulation (Proteus, Multisim), control system design and analysis (MATLAB), data analysis (MS Excel, Orange), embedded systems programming (AVR, PIC, Raspberry Pi), machine learning (Pandas, Keras, TensorFlow, Scikit), machine vision (OpenCV) and Linux OS (Bash Scripting). I also have had many successful experiences of leading small to medium-sized teams for projects.

Researched and reviewed contemporary methods and algorithms to detect and identify diseases using Fundus and OCT imaging; achieved marginal improvements in validation and performance accuracies of such algorithms.
