I am development sector servent with a Masters Degree in Social Sciences coupled with over nine years of experience in project management, coordination, research and advocacy in the field of health, particularly sexual and reproductive health, nutrition and gender based violence. My expertise ranges from monitoring, data management, analytics and report writing, quality assurance of service delivery at all levels, coordination, program implementation with a multi-disciplinary team, monitoring, high-level engagement for advocacy, development of research proposals and designs, both for qualitative and quantitative, and development of ME plans.
I have experience working with the public and private sectors in SRH, FP, GBV, and humanitarian response at all levels including district and provincial levels. I had opportunities to work with the development agencies who are leading contributors in the field of SRH and FP. I was also engaged in different research project focusing on womens social and reproductive health.
I also worked in real-time monitoring of healthcare service delivery system aiming to ensure the quality of care and contributed in drawing the corrective measures in the light of observations from the monitoring and quality assurance activities.
In addition, I also led a team implementing the health projects with public sector while engaging the communities whereby, capitalizing the opportunities to improve the community leadership in health.
I was also engaged in different research projects to generate evidence to improve SRH, FP, and GBV programming and implementation.
Thus, in the light of my experience and expertise, I believe that I would be a more productive and successful team player in ensuring the quality in program implementation which could be led to the improved quality of care in FP/SRH service delivery.

ENHANCING GLOBAL HEALTH SECURITY :
Funded by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), this five-year project builds upon activities funded by CDC to support Global Health Security through implementation of programs and activities that focus on protecting and improving health globally through partnerships with Ministries of Health and other institutions. With an initial emphasis on addressing the COVID-19 pandemic, the project is supporting countries—including Pakistan—as well as regional work in West Africa and South America to improve prevention of avoidable epidemics, including naturally occurring outbreaks and intentional or accidental releases of dangerous pathogens; improve ability to detect threats early; and respond rapidly and effectively to public health threats of international concern. Hence look after the performance of both districts to gear up the project related activities through providing guidelines and capacity building of staff. Saaf Suthro Sindh program is the component of MSAN, the government has embarked upon eradication of open defecation from the Province by 2020. Under Inter Sectoral Nutrition Strategy of Sindh (INSS), the sanitation component of the project aligns with the Government of Sindh’s sanitation intervention known as Saaf Suthro Sindh (SSS) in the province and aims to increase the number of ODF villages in 13 districts through certification. The project aims to reduce stunting by improving nutrition status through ensuring access to adequate and equitable sanitation and hygiene for all women, men and children (Boys & Girls) and end open defecation in rural areas of targeted district. The specific objectives of the proposed project are to promote knowledge, behaviour change, demand for services and opportunities for participation in rural communities, children, women and men to create Open Defecation Free (ODF) environment and Increase public awareness about waterborne and water-related diseases, nutrition and hygiene.
The major intervention under the SSSP is to achieve total sanitation not only through ensuring availability of latrines but most importantly changing health and hygiene behaviour of the people through Social Mobilization under the Community Led Total Sanitation (CLTS).
