Software Quality Assurance Engineer

What is The Role

We are seeking a Software Quality Assurance resource that is excited and enthusiastic about his work, as well as competent and professional to become a part of our development team. You will be collaborating with software development staff & Hiring managers throughout multiple project life cycles. Responsibilities:

Responsible for the full QA testing lifecycle for small to mid-size projects that include execution of test cases to tracking and resolution of defects for changes.
Develops, executes, and analyzes automated test results.
Design test plans and test cases for Regression and Functional tests.
Understands client usage of the software to develop appropriate automated test cases and acceptance test criteria.
Provide suggestions for improvement of QA efficiency.
Identify test KPIs for product quality and product reporting metrics.
In uncovering defects also works with the development team to help determine the root cause.
Keep up to date on the latest test software and frameworks.
Perform all other related duties.

Requirements:

BS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a relevant field.
2 years of proven experience in Software Quality Assurance.
Functional knowledge of the following technologies: HTML, ASP.NET, C#, XML & React JS.
Deep knowledge of SDLC & STLC.
Knowledge of bug reporting life cycle.
Ability to understand and execute test cases.
Proficiency in SQL and writing SQL queries.
Good knowledge of Automation testing.
Thorough understanding of QA, QC, software QA methodologies, and tools.
Working knowledge of different testing types & techniques.
Should have worked for a team following Agile development methodologies, including Scrum.
