Medical Transcriptionist

We are looking for a Medical Transcriptionist on an urgent basis to work in the evening shift in our office in DHA Phase-IV. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of work experience in a Medical Transcription Company, transcribing dictations of American doctors with different accents. The candidate should be able to transcribe dictations of multiple medical specialties, mainly Pain management, Orthopedics, Neurology & Cardiology with at least 80% accuracy and in a timely manner. The candidate should have proper training/certification from a Medical Transcription Company with complete understanding of Medical Transcription rules defined by AAMT. Good understanding of medical terminology, anatomy/physiology, US English grammar and punctuation.

The candidate should be familiar with transcribing different types of medical reports including but not limited to:

· Consultation Report

· History and Physical

· Follow-Up Visit

· Office Note

· Operative Report.

· Discharge Summary

· X-ray & MRI Reports

· CT, CAT and PET scan reports

· Referral Letters

The ideal candidate should have a graduation degree but Intermediate degree holder with higher experience can also apply.

The candidate should be flexible with staying a little late or coming early in completing the daily assigned task if and when needed.
