Senior Data Scientist

A leading software company is looking for an experienced Senior Data Scientist. We hire people with a desire to build great products and make a business impact using statistical analysis, machine learning, experimentation, data mining, data visualization, and more. As a Data Scientist, you will be joining a collaborative team responsible for exploring insights from large databanks using cutting-edge technologies. The position holder will be able to critically identify the hidden data patterns and trends through constructive methods of data discovery suggesting alternate approaches and improvements to existing practices and build recommendation engines. You will work cross-functionally to define problem statements, collect data, and build analytical models.

Required Technical Skills:

· Hands-on experience with medium to large datasets.

· Build Recommendation Engines

· Demonstrate ability to provide practical insights from complex data sets.

· Familiarity with concepts of Google Big Data and Machine Learning API

· Experience in Analytics, Statistics, BI, data visualization is preferred.

· An aptitude for statistical learning, mathematics and problem-solving.

· Intellectually curious, with excellent communication skills.

· Familiarity with algorithm development which may be categorized as Artificial Intelligence, Predictive Analytics, Data Mining and Machine Learning.

· Experience with controlled experiments is particularly important for this role

· Experience with machine learning, deep learning, anomaly detection, predictive analysis, text analysis, exploratory data analysis, and other areas of data science are also valued

· Experience performing data analysis including applying statistics

· Strong interpersonal and communications skills

· Enterprise Data Management

· Internet and Software Platform

· Experience of Cloud Computing (AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform)
