PRODUCTION MANAGER required for exporter of steel products. Should have a minimum 7 years plant supervisory experience producing steel products to the highest level of construction tolerance and exacting finish. Must have experience of steel fabrication, including cutting, bending, welding and painting.
Must be fluent in English and Urdu
Duties include:
Recruiting, orienting, and training employees.
Monitoring and improving employee performance.
Scheduling and supervising work teams to ensure on time delivery.
Maintaining output quality to the required standard.
Initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
Coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees.
Establishing worker pay grades and recommending workers for advancement.
Maintaining work processes according to SOP’s. Suggesting improvements in SOP’s and implementing approved changes.
Facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process control points.
Coordinating and improving cooperation between departments.
Recommending methods of cost reductions and implementing approved methods.
Coordinating with QA department to ensure QA procedures and standards are kept.
Maintaining quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
Ensuring good operation of equipment by calling for repairs or replacement.
Maintaining production records within the company ERP system.
Maintaining a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing production staff.
Resolving personnel problems within the production department.
Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
