We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Primary Science Teacher to join our E-Learning Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective science instruction to primary school students through virtual platforms. This role requires developing tailored lesson plans that address diverse learning styles, assessing student progress, and creating digital course content to enhance the online learning experience. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing and updating courses on our Learning Management System (LMS) to ensure accessibility and quality education.
Key Responsibilities
Teach primary school science by delivering high-quality instruction in assigned subjects, adapting lessons to meet the individual needs of students. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that accommodate various learning styles and foster student understanding. Regularly assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support academic growth. Utilize online tools such as Zoom and Google Meet to conduct virtual lessons and maintain active student engagement remotely. Create high-quality digital content for online courses, including worksheets, assessments, and multimedia resources. Manage and update online courses on the LMS to ensure smooth delivery and accessibility. Continuously monitor and revise course materials to maintain relevance, accuracy, and alignment with educational standards. Design and develop comprehensive courses that effectively address diverse learning needs and styles.
Required Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in Science is essential. Candidates holding B.Ed. and M.Ed. degrees are preferred, demonstrating a strong educational foundation. A minimum of one year of teaching experience is required, with preference given to those who have experience in online teaching environments. A valid teaching certification is mandatory. Fluency in English is required to ensure clear communication and instruction.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
Strong knowledge of science concepts and principles, with the ability to explain complex ideas clearly and effectively. Proficiency in using online teaching tools, LMS platforms, and digital content creation software is highly desirable. The ability to adapt to changing educational environments and priorities is important. Patience and empathy when working with young learners are essential qualities. Experience with online learning platforms and course management applications will be an advantage. Skilled in creating engaging and interactive digital content that enhances student learning. Competence in designing effective assessments to measure student learning outcomes is preferred. Experience with STEM-related projects or organizations such as SUPARCO (Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission) or similar science initiatives is a plus. A solid understanding of science applications and their real-world implications will benefit the role.
