PE is hiring experienced Quantity Surveyors/Cost Estimators with a minimum of 6 months experience in US and Canadian structures. Job: To prepare materials takeoff and cost estimates including but not limited to Architecture, structure & MEP. Must know complete elements of buildings and have knowledge of materials.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering or Civil Engineering from a well-reputed university.
• Proven work experience as a Cost Estimator.
• Advanced knowledge of construction and engineering processes.
• High-level mathematical skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Advanced analytical skills.
• Proficient with computer estimation software.
• Good project management skills.
• Able to work out of the office hours.
Responsibilities:
• Understanding the scope and scale of the project.
• Traveling to job sites to gather information on materials, labor, and other factors.
• Collaborating with engineers, contractors, and architects.
• Consulting with industry experts to discuss cost estimates.
• Identifying and quantifying all cost factors involved in the project.
• Using computer software (Planswift & Bluebeam) to calculate cost estimates.
• Preparing and presenting cost reports for clients.
• Reviewing expenditure statements during all phases of the project.
Timing and Weekday:
• 7pm to 4am
• Monday to Friday
Job Types: Full-time,
Three Months Minimum Contract
