  • Responsible for the management of all purchasing activities for building finishing materials.
  • To develop and drive the company’s procurement strategy, optimizing the supply of materials and services to timely finish the project.
  •  Sourcing high quality local and imported materials, equipment’s related to construction and should have good knowledge about finishing building materials, titles, sanitary, fittings, decorative, marble etc.
  • Lead key procurement negotiations, ensuring effective contracts and sub-contract procurement agreements.
  • Organize and lead supplier review meetings
  • Obtain quotes/prices for new and existing materials and services
  • Provide support to the Project Manager
  • Deal with ad hoc business requests/queries as required (e.g. sourcing samples from suppliers)

Requirements

  • Track record of implementing new processes and procedures
  • Understanding of construction industry process and procedures with hands on experience in procurement, logistics or project management.
  • Supplier management and negotiations
  • Dynamic and highly motivated
  • Good organizational and planning skills
  • Advance computer expertise with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
