Job Responsibilities:
- Collect, validate, and manage geospatial data from various sources.
- Create and maintain GIS databases and ensure data integrity and quality.
- Design and develop GIS workflows and processes for data acquisition, conversion, and analysis.
- Perform spatial data analysis, including geoprocessing, spatial queries, and spatial statistics.
- Develop and maintain geospatial datasets, including layers, attributes, and metadata.
- Create maps and visualizations using GIS software and tools.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their spatial data requirements and provide GIS support.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of GIS software and systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve GIS software and data-related issues.
- Stay updated with the latest GIS technologies, tools, and best practices.
- Provide training and support to end-users in utilizing GIS software and tools
- Strong proficiency in GIS software, such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar tools.
- In-depth knowledge of spatial data concepts and techniques.
- Experience in data collection, management, and analysis using GIS software.
- Familiarity with geodatabases, data models, and spatial data formats (e.g., shapefiles, geodatabase feature classes).
- Proficiency in spatial analysis and geoprocessing techniques.
- Understanding of cartographic principles and map design.
Requirements:
- Minimum required 2-year experience
- Masters/Bachelors degree (GIS/CS or relevant discipline)
- Basic knowledge of GIS Application development objects.
- Experience in App development (Python,Django) Front end.
- Having strong understanding with GIS Library.
