A successful candidate will demonstrate the following qualifications:

3+ years of experience
Committed to producing code that follows the best practices of the industry
Previous experience with other mobile platforms (not required but would be a plus)
Proficiency in the following skills and technologies is mandatory:
Excellent knowledge and working experience with Android platforms.
Java
Strong Object-Oriented programming skills
Good understanding of client-server architecture
Experience architecting multilayered client application consisting of presentation, business and data layers
Experience with managing local cache and SQLite database
Good command over consuming server APIs in mobile client applications.
Video playback in Android (would be a plus)

Skills

An ability to quickly and eagerly learn new technologies
Willingness to take responsibility for projects and determine their trajectory
An ability to consistently meet deadlines even while running multiple projects
Excellent communication skills with a wide range of individuals (in English)
A collaborative approach to team projects
