Summary of the Role:

If you’re enthusiastic, self-driven, interested in kickstarting your career in HR and getting a closer look of how a company approaches recruiting, selecting and on-boarding, we’d like to meet you.

Ultimately, you will assist in developing a talent pool for the current and anticipated vacancies. You should be detail-oriented and be able to demonstrate excellent administrative and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

Prepare & Maintain Job Descriptions (JD’s):

  • Developing and periodically updating Job descriptions of all Company employees.
  • Extracting Key Result Areas (KRA’s) of new job descriptions, where required.
  • Issuing job descriptions to new employees as well as the old employees.

Talent Acquisition:

  • Assisting departments with their talent needs.
  • Conducting research about best practices and current salaries/ benefits in the respective market.
  • Organizing employer branding events and participating in careers fairs.
  • Posting job advertisements to job boards and social media platforms.
  • Screening potential employees' resumes and application forms to identify suitable candidates to fill the vacancies.
  • Calling shortlisted candidates for interviews, conducting selection tests, preparing results and arranging interviews with the line manager and finally with the CEO.
  • Removing job advertisements from job boards and social media platforms once vacancies have been filled.
  • Coordinating with prospective candidates and negotiating employment offers.
  • Preparing and sending employment offers and rejection emails to candidates.
  • Develop and present talent acquisition reports and metrics. 

On-Boarding:

  • Coordinating all necessary preparations with respect to the joining of new employees.
  • Doing all necessary documentation as per policies at the day of joining for all new employees.
  • Conducting orientation of all new joiners in the organization.
  • Coordinating and ensuring that all new hires are well trained for their roles. 

Performance Management:

  • Providing assistance in the performance evaluation of the employees.
  • Setting KPI’s at the start of the performance period by keeping in loop the line manager and the employee.
  • Performing periodic performance appraisals and coordinating with line managers to conduct appraisal meetings with employees.
  • Preparing year end performance appraisal reports of all employees for increments and promotion purpose. And finally updating the promotion and increment information in the Performance Management System (PMS).

Employee Engagement:

  • Responding to staff inquiries regarding talent policies and employee benefits.
  • Maintaining a healthy communication system towards the employees and resolving employees' issues to keep them motivated and satisfied.
  • Planning and organizing employee engagement events.

Requirements: 

To be an Ideal Candidate for the role, you should have:

  • A genuine interest in developing a career in Talent Acquisition.
  • Degree in business, human resource management, psychology or any other related field.
  • Updated HRM knowledge with good understanding of full-cycle technical recruitment.
  • Basic knowledge of labor legislation.
  • Proven experience of working in the same position for One (1) to Three (3) Years.
  • Familiarity with HRIS, ATS and resume databases.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Communication and Negotiation Skills.
  • Ability to act in a confidential and sensitive manner.
  • Ability to work accurately with good attention to detail.
  • Motivation to constantly learn and develop the knowledge and skills.
  • Self-assured manner, also towards people in rather high positions.
