Senior Manager Wireless Network Strategy

· Develop wireless network architecture strategy

· Provide roadmap for network and technology upgrade/evolution

· Develop technical specifications for wireless network elements

· Plan terms of reference for the proof of concept of new technologies and services

· Develop network acceptance protocol of the nodes

· Costing analysis for feasibility studies and business cases

· Prepare technical specifications of Wireless CPEs in various frequency bands

· Contribute and at times lead for the technical design of desired solutions meeting standards and protocols for integration, data exchange, communications, software and interconnection for wireless systems.

· Ensure that all proposed solutions are future proof, meet the strategies & policies of PTCL & Etisalat Group and follow industry best practices.

· Support change management activities to secure proper adoption.

Essential Knowledge

· Knowledge of key wireless technologies like LTE-Advanced, FDD LTE, TDD LTE, CDMA, EVDO & 3G

· Knowledge and experience of dual mode networks & single RAN solutions

· Familiarity with 3GPP and 3GPP2 standards

· Strong knowledge of wireless ecosystems in different spectrums like 450MHz, 1.9GHz, 3.5GHz bands

· Knowledge and experience of high capacity Fixed Wireless Broadband networks

· Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, excel, planning and optimization tools

Qualifications

· Minimum 16-year education in Electrical/Telecom Engineering

· 8+ years’ experience in mobile network planning & strategy

· Experience of complete project life cycle including RFP, SOW, Technical Evaluations, RAM, contract negotiations etc.

· Good presentation and documentation skills
