We are a newly established home decor brand selling online using various channels. 

  • We are looking for an accountant-cum-administrator who can take over our complete everyday accounting tasks and some administration work as well.
  • This job is currently a remote position only but within 2-3 months, will be converted into an office-based job (with revised salary).

Accounting responsibilities include:

  • Daily bank reconciliation
  • Prepare financial statements on a weekly basis
  • Make daily revenue vs marketing costs reports
  • Reconcile payments received from logistics partners
  • Calculate profitability per product
  • Maintain asset register and depreciation schedules
  • Maintain prepayments schedule
  • Misc. accounting functions

Non-accounting responsibilities include:

  • Order confirmation from customers (over certain value)
  • Prepare shipping labels from logistics partner dashboards
  • Check order status and follow up with customers if deliveries delayed
  • Manage back-end (Shopify) system orders
  • Misc. activities around the administration
  • The position requires good communication skills and the ability to handle various kinds of situations faced by the business on a daily basis.
