Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and cloud services (experience with AWS/AWS-RDS is required)
A working understanding of code and script (Python, Shell, and/or Ruby, java)
Configuring Load Balancers, VPCs, and Security Groups
In-depth working experience with AWS services and APIs
Working knowledge of DevOps, automation, and Infrastructure as Code
Experience designing and creating build pipelines using Jenkins
Solid networking knowledge, VPCs, Security Groups, and capable of troubleshooting all types of network traffic issues
Experience using container and orchestration tools such as Docker
Work closely with Development and QA teams to understand the build, release, branching and versioning requirements for code and SQL Migrations
Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration
Work closely with the development team to integrate new deployment processes and strategies
Perform root cause analysis for production errors
