Should have sound knowledge of Income Tax, Sales Tax, Withholding Taxes, and related Tax Compliances.
Experience in handling the similar job role as defined below:
Preparation / Verification of Payments Summary and Net Amount Payable for each payment transaction. (Verification of Payments for Payee Tax Status, Invoice verification for Applicable Sales & Income Taxes, Applying Respective Withholding Taxes, etc).
Recording of Invoices and Payments in the Payables Module of the Accounting software / ERP.
Verification of daily payment transactions for bank reconciliations
Daily day end Internal reporting of payments processed.
Weekly reporting for Payables Balances, Outstanding Invoices, and Payable Balances.
Updating himself and team for changes in applicable taxes as and when notified.
Preparation and submission of weekly / monthly withholding payments with its payment challans.
Handling of Income Tax and Sales Tax FBR portals for Statutory reporting and required compliances.
Providing tax withholding challans to Vendors/ Suppliers on timely basis.
Keep up to date record of all exemption certificate and applicable underlying documents.
Liaoning with Vendors/ Suppliers and management of Payables Ledgers and Balances.
Balances reconciliations with Vendors/ Suppliers (Quarterly).
Handle daily volume of 25 to 50 transactions per day.
Ability to demonstrate strong control over area of work and in strict deadlines and with quick turnaround time for transaction processing.
Ability to have clear and effective communication with all stakeholders for amicably handling the job role.
